Is frontier lowering the success of this game, by not introducing features?

Yet another thread covering the exact same issues that the smaller, vocal minority still say don't exist.

But whatever. Frontier clearly have no intention of responding to any of the threads and points made in them. I didn't really expect them to, as by doing so would be a lose-lose for them - nothing they say would alleviate the concerns people have, so they won't do so.

Short of shareholders/investors coming up to senior management and poking them with a stick, pointing at the many forum posts and specific subject matter. Of course, that's probably already happening, but pointing at other games with guns and multiplayer, and expecting that to be this game's main selling point. Which of course it is.

So I've probably already answered my own question. Guns and ships and pew pew it is then, and up yours explorers, miners, sciencers( I made that up sorry) and traders - this isn't the game for you any more.

Okay Imagine it's 2.0

Horizons just launched.

And the next big thing you want to do is walking around your ship.

But what needs to go into that?
1. Internal Models of the ships (built during the ship creation during alpha to v1.5 ship releases.)
2.Well you'd like your mates to be on your ship so they are going to have to overall the net-code to get commanders in the same ship(v2.3).
3.You might need to get some kind of commander creator for your mates to know it yous (v2.3).
4a. You might want to have passengers or npc's to interact with on your ship (v2.2) so you can have things like
4b. have chained (v2.3) or
4c. branches missions (v2.1) when npc's (with models..v2.1) can interact and make you counter-offers mid-flight.
5. And with your mates onboad they'll probably want to launch a fighter(1.3&2.2), or jump into the complicated turret system you just bought in ( v2.3)

HEAVEN forbid Frontier are just WASTING our time with pointless additions when they should be making full effort on making space-legs happen. Immediately !!!

Kim-Jong-Sandro said about LEGS; still far away, maybe, if happen!
TL;DR ; no legs till "Star Citizen 2" release

There are MANY threads where people seems to judge and assess features from season 1&2 by
if they can stand up by themselves or not,

when they are missing the entire concept that these are the exact required features that are a needed to upgrade the game's framework in right direction in order to get spacelegs up and running.

Just implementing walking round ships without passenger interaction, multiplayer interaction would be suicide.

You are witnessing space legs being developed and introduced update by update in front of your eyes.

Really don't care about 'space legs'. Adding it to Elite Dangerous is like asking for Microsoft Flight Simulator to add a duty free shop and security check-in lines at airports...

Ummm... No, no it's not. One game is a simulator rich in content and depth. One game is an arcade space game with push button action. Guess which one is not a simulator, and needs content and depth from things like legs?

To the OP: yep, the game feels like it's in 'maintenance mode' rather than in active development.
