Is frontier taking too long to fix the broken things in this game?

Some bugs (hello display bugs) and exploits (...) have been going since alpha. They haven't added even a simple checksum so people is running clients that should be incompatible, making it way too easy on cheaters.

Yes, in some cases is taking WAY too long.

To add to this, we never waited more than 63 days so far, since alpha 1. The average is about 1.2 months/major update (~38 days), we've just reached 34 today for this one, though it's going to take at least 2 more weeks, and that would still not be 2 months then. Obviously sometimes it leans more towards 2, especially for the biggest additions, than towards 1. And 1.3 is still annouced as the biggest content addition so far.

Don't sell FD short, these were not just mere updates, they were "Free expansions" acording to the last financial report.

Can't see why people says FD is slow on fixes they are actually quite fast when you compare them to other online games (they fixed things on average within 1 or 2 patches).

Not even the big ones like SWTOR and Archeage are that fast (SWTOR STILL hasn't fixed Illum, Archeage is even worse they broke things on every patch). They are pretty much on par with fix speed as Diablo 3.

What standard is OP comparing it to? WoW? WoW is a game that's been around for more than 10 years you know... if they aren't bug free by now they'll never be.
