Is it better to just remove the solo mode? And do some tweaks about ganking?

I loved the feeling of needing to be cautious and worried back in the day when people were in Open and FDev didn't make pvp harder to engage with.

I'd love Open only, but system security would have to be made meaningful at the very least.

It would bring back A LOT of disgruntled players.

Open isn't diffrent from solo , both are lifeless

oh come on ....The gameplay of rerouting your ship is better than playing invisible. Your already a veteran! I think you can manage to survive the danger.

I don't think that's true, it's the same game, you are being hyperbolic. nothing would change if you played in open.

I just opened this thread as I was curious to know what you thought the "tweaks" would be for gankers. Nothing here about that though....

I am not going to deal with the poor connection quality and crap fps in open just to let some murder hobo kill me in a type 6. Screw getting rid of solo

This will go well. I predict it will go the same way ALL of the other threads that suggest this go.

When I see these threads, the first thing I think is "I don't have enough targets, lets get rid of solo mode so I can have more targets."

At some point accusations of "hiding" come about in order to shame solo players. Solo players don't care about the opinion that open players have.

Sometimes it comes about that people want this to be dark souls in space.

Anyway, enjoy.
