We will not get this till that weekend now. If this is really the case, they will not release this before hand and it will be because of VR. Plus the whole retail packing on those site could be just a place holder. They have been this secretive through out I really don't think this is final box art! No way! Like I said, here in the states, none of the game stores have anything on the box version of this.

it's very similar to the xbox reveal and release although if Sony are involved I look forward to seeing how they spin the release of a new game people could play on their main rival two years earlier lol

Well delaying it till mid-June allows them to keep any news off the books for the fiscal quarter and allows them to start the fiscal year with an uptick due to the PS4 sales.
if they get anymore secretive we are going to need MI5 and the CIA to get the release date

If they really are (which looks likely now) attending e3 then I think we know the week of release and possible date, 12th June
The Sony slot starts at 02:30 bst so unless fdev pull an all nighter it would be a few hours later! I might even watch it now lol
Not convinced it will be a headliner for the Sony E3 conference especially when its been on PC and Xbox for so long. Still stranger things have happened! If it was an exclusive or new IP. Its too niche I would think.
as much as i agree that e3 release makes sense, we have to bear in mind that FDev also have planet coaster to show of at e3, and it is not just for showing off ps4 titles

This release is for PS4! The sales and titles on PS4 has nothing to do with PC or XBox they already had their day. This release is for the people that own and prefer PS4 over other platforms. 60 million+ strong, most who will not own a gaming PC or Xbox. Many times a stand out game is a complete surprise at E3. Software is the the muscle Sony is bringing to E3 this year the more they show the better for the platform. Variety in software is also very much part of PS4's appeal. As a whole speculation is not convincing at all. That included my own thoughts posted here. What we do know is FD has signed up and will be at E3 regardless of the being the launch date. The launch has just as much chance of being after E3 and it has before it at this point. Sooner the better has always been my feelings.

I think it is definitely coming to PSVR. The borked Anaconda bridge is my "evidence". It's obviously the polygon-reduced version needed to provide the very high FPS required to prevent VR sickness. Someone goofed and accidentally replaced the default bridge with this PSVR test bridge. That's my conspiracy theory, anyway.
