If you already have Odyssey, the H4 option is included in it, there isn't another download so the directory remains at 50.6 GB (Odyssey) Not 120 including Legacy.
Is it possible not to download 3.8 version via Steam?

It does for me. My setup is using all frontierstore accounts through a steam entry that doesn't own odd. I use frontier authentication and the launcher downloads both odd and odd horizons independently of steam. Most accounts don't own odd however, so it looks like im stuck with both downloads or just odd and legacy.

I launch from the Frontier launcher, so only have Legacy & EDO.
Strange that steam does that!
Really.. so it turns out i had an extra product there.. "FORC-FDEV-DO-1000".. just deleted it and odd still works from "elite-dangerous-odyssey-64", thanks for the lead. I only downloaded odd horizons a few days ago.. so i guess the launcher must use either folder except for the button used to play odd horizons. Almost understandable.
They should fix that or release a faq.. there's probably quite a few people who have downloaded an extra client?

I have installed legacy just for a test. After that I decided to use the live mode in future. The deinstallation of legacy was pretty easy at the launcher. Select Legacy Horizons, at the menu start deinstallation at the options menu. Ony legacy and a huge amount of data were removed, the rest was not touched.
