Is it possible to get our own music ingame ?

I would like to know if that's possible to use our own music. 1 music for docking, 1 music during combat, etc...

Yea, I always loved star wars sounds :p

OFC! you can bro, just download whatever you want , put it on a macro on voice atack to open it and play it and there you go!!!..

for real, asking this kind of things when most of the features of the game are tech demo.. O_O

Hmm, not really. At least not without disabling ingame music itself and like Zaerion said above... Voice Attack, or just tinker with AutoHotkey to switch music based on what key you smack.

Not a bad idea; but it would require substantial integration with the game to get it to work like you're talking about. I'm afraid that your only option at the moment is using an external program.

I use Voice Attack and have made 5 different 'A.I. Constructs' to talk to during my fights and flights... one of them controls my playlist, as well as gives recommendations based on its 'mood'. (I currently have up to 80 music tracks scripted each at 3 different volume levels, and a random, next, previous feature. I can also just say the name of the song and it starts playing. Great for those pirate fights, "O Fortuna!" as the battle rages around me. "Blue Danube" for cargo scooping. I've even worked in a bit of folk, pop tunes, classic rock, blues, western and jazz for those long hauls.)

I'm also starting to dabble with various word games with the ships computer that I find myself spending half my time working on VoiceAttack instead of paying attention to where I'm flying. (I've overshot my supercruise target so many times, I purposely aim above or below my destination, just in case.)

It also catches me by surprise often cause I've trained it to detect and respond when I laugh, or sigh, or get frustrated, or say words I didn't realize I say out loud till I started to see the active log. Also, while you're at it, show your ships computer some courtesy with a few "Thank you" commands. (Oh, and be sure to program in a threshold... if the AI is getting a bit too snarky for my tastes, I just tell it to take the sarcasm down to 17%... etc.)

(I'm such a nerd, but I bet we'll all be talking to computers in the next 25 - 30 years. (We technically already are: Automated Phone systems, Siri, Google, etc.)) :p

The sky is the limit!

Guild Wars 2 have this. A folder where you add your MP3 songs and name them accordingly. Maybe it was several folders, one for each "combat", "exploring" etc so you didnt even have to name them. Just drop them in the right folders. cant remember right now. But it worked great since you could add more than 1 song for each and the game would randomly pick one everytime you got into the specific situation.
