Is it Possible?

Hello all,
Is it possible to backdoor your way into a permit-entry system by using a large fuel reserve and supercruising from a nearby system?
By my math, at maximum SC speed you can cover about 6 ly in a 24 hour period.
Has anybody tried this?

Yeah, it has been tried and failed.
You cannot SC to other systems.

Due to the nature of instancing, you can't SC to other systems, it may say you're right on top of it, but since you're still in the instance of the system you started, you still have to jump to your destination system before you can be "in" that system

Hyperspace jumps serve as loading transitions between systems, so while you can supercruise to another system's physical location, nothing will load until you hyperjump.

and on top of that you will still need the fuel for the distance that the jump would have taken (as in, if the system was 1.5LYs away, you supercruised that 1.5LYs to that destination you would still be 1.5LYs away according to your jump range.)
