I am trying to get into it just am not interested in delivering the stupid data packs. Is PP dead? I see zero attempts at expansion for Hudson. Is anyone out there actually working together to accomplish anything?

Poor metric, though - it's not as if Hudson's supporters are going to post "this week, we're attacking Winters because they'll never expect it" in a public forum.Less than 10 posts in the Powerplay forum this month, yup it is on life support.

I think it will get a bit of love later this year, it will be enhanced.
I suspect the goids may end up areas, which we have win over. power play allows for true PVP, the issue at the moment there is no risk in entering another power's systems.
I think its really good, if we all used it.. and it made a difference.. hopefully changes will make it make a difference

Yupis the first word that springs to mind...things never really improved much after that...
This is why it was . It could have been a great roleplay tool for naval ranks and mini quests relating to that power that could tie into the thargoids and guardians. Have powers tied into the background sim with rival factions supporting specific powers for indirect/direct PvP.it was dead from the beginning.
Besides silly, unbalanced rewards there are no gameplay reasons to join a power. As a result it's just an other thing to do to get some advantage.
The result is, that many players join a power not for RP reasons - something that could keep players entertained - but mainly for the modules.
