Big combat ships are a mistake in this game.

Small/medium should be the combat chassis.

Depends on the circumstances... for PvP, I would probably agree - unless you are going with one of the immortal min-max meta-builds that IMO are tantamount to an exploit/cheat build.

For PvE, depends on the circumstances but if you are going up against Anaconda type ships having one of the big 3 is certainly highly desirable.

This has happened only once, ever, but I was running some stacked small missions in my Python in a new system when I was interdicted by two wings. One was three condas, the other was two. I was going to freak out and bail but I decided to give it a go since I had two C6 SCBs at the time. Long story short, I used all of my SCBs, almost all of my ammo, and was down to about 27% hull when I finally killed the last one. I figure I was very lucky as that fur-ball could have gone either way IMO.

Since then, I have preferred to run missions in my vettes.
