Look, we can't be talking about "can't" here, this is fantasy physics, not general relativity where an actual answer exists.

My point is, I think ships should sound different in supercruise, just like they sound different in normal propulsion mode. I think that is sensible, regardless of what version of elite fantasy physics you believe.
