Is there a list of all covas speech lines somewhere?

I don't particularly like FD's voice packs.
Archer is pretty good.

But British or U.S. English female voices are rather brassy / cold, like some office worker trying overly hard to sound like a soulless corporate drone - ulcer causing behavior.

So I want to record my own and donate it to FD to use and sell.


Is there any way to find out the full list of lines FD's standard board computer speaks?

I don't know, but you might be able to do something like this with Voice Attack and then just mute the ship voice.

First, I'd need to find a list of lines, to record everything. I have an audio studio, so recording quality would be pristine and properly mastered.

Then I'd prefer to just hand it to FD, to see if they like it and want to sell it for their own profit along with their other covas options.

Only if that doesn't pan out, I'd try to go with HSC or voice attack. I prefer the in-game system. Its simple.

I suggest you IM one of the CMs, and see if they can elicit a response from the devs on that. But they have their own way of doing things, and pay actors to do the voiceovers, and allowing a free one might upset the status quo.

Furthermore, they are now prepping for Odyssey, and won't want to give anything away about that. Your timing is not good for this.

Funny you should mention her.
She IS actually the most pleasant sounding voice FD has.
French certainly helps too.

But that's all neither here nor there for me.
I know what I can do, and what this girl can do and its simply going to be better.

I assume they are always prepping the next fix or addition...

But I wasn't suggesting a "free" one. I was suggesting that I'll give it to FD for free, to sell for their own profit along with the rest of their voices - if people like it. More money for them.

FD's voices are sickeningly corporate. Soulless. nearly dead - save for Archer. There's some charming enthusiasm in him, at least.

EDIT: Looked it up. She did CHASE which is a voice pack. I guess that's a voice attack thing.
I wonder if one can use Voice Attack without having any commands set up and you'd still hear the various crew members with singularity. My environment is too noisy for voice commands and I feel silly talking to myself. That's off the topic of this thread, though.
