Is there a way to know what faction is receiving passengers on a mission?

So sorry, can not find it... seems like this would be a thing we should know

edit: I know how to see it AFTER accepting the mission... but where do I look to see it before?

I don't think there is. However, I seem to remember something about the receiving faction not gaining any benefit. You get a reputation boost with them but the stuff about it affecting the system you delivered isn't correct any more.

I haven't had my coffee yet, so I'd wait for someone else to confirm before thinking this is exactly what happens though.

It would still be nice to know. Right now I avoid taking missions to systems where I'm working the BGS, because I don't want to help the wrong faction by mistake. (If it doesn't help the target faction at all, that's useful to know. I'll have to take one and see what the popups bottom-right say about rep and inf.)

As far as I know the receiving party is mentioned in the mission details?
Only thing that is not mentioned is how they are aligned (Fed/Imp/All/Ind).
But with EDSM or Inara you can check that?
