Is there a way to lay multiple trees to quickly make a forest?

I tried searching but it isn't working for me... and I feel like there has to be a way to do this..
I don't believe there is a tool to lay down a ton of trees at once.

However, in the workshop you can find pre-made rows of trees:

Do a search for "tree" in the workshop and you can find some blueprints that'll help you.

If you want to be a pal and create some blueprints of forests, let me know when you get them done so I can download them! :)

Other than above, no however someone made a really good thread about being able to paint trees etc which would be great.

It's pretty simple to make your own. Just pick a few trees you think fit with your theme/biome, put them close together, save it as a blueprint. Now you have a small forest. Plop down 4-5 of those blueprints, make sure you rotate them between each one, multiselect and save as a new blueprint. Now you have a medium forest. Continue on like that if you want huge forests.

Probably the best way to do it because you make it fit better with what your needs are. Plus it literally takes no time to do.

I get that, however the tool in question was a good shout and would allow bigger more randomised areas because we also discussed adding a scaling ability to it. And it also means it can be locked to terrain so when on a slope it can place them accordingly and dynamically.

Agreed, you replied while I was typing my comment, lol. I meant that to be an explanation for how to best make a forest in the game at the moment.

Yeah that would be nice to have a "paint" tool for plants/trees/rocks/etc..

I'll create a large forest area and upload it to the workshop for fun.

They had this in RCT2 if I recall.

You are correct. It has been suggested many times for PC. My guess is that it is probably not going to be a thing because the amount of details in the trees is much more complex now than hey we're in RCT2 and a forest tool may produce too many polygons for an average system to handle. But time will tell I guess!

I would love a forest tool as creating a blue print doesn't really work when you want to add that blueprint to terraformed land
