Is there a way to lower the perspective point? My head is to low!

Hi

I have tried lowering the camera; this looks awesome but I am leaving its zone because the colour fades out

I want to lower the pilot or increase the camera's height.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

Ok I think I understand, have you tried resetting head tracking forget which button it is F12? The colour fading usually means you have lost head tracking too.

Most likely your IPD is not setup correctly. Or if all else fails, duck down when re-centering and then sit normal that will raise your view as well. I often push backwards when I re-center and everything is slightly closer when sitting normally.

I also find that transferring from one ship to another does require you to reset the Oculus. when I am in my asp I have to sit very upright in my chair then reset the oculus then relax to bring my shoulders in alignment with the pilot. When I change ship to say maybe my Python, to bring the shoulders in alignment I have slouch a bit and move the chair slightly away from the camera reset then move back to a comfy position and check I am inline and at the same height with the pilots shoulders.

I Also have my tracking camera setup on a tripod behind and above my monitor so when I am setup its about 3ft in front and about 8" above me angled down towards my head, only rarely does the colour fade out when I am looking down at the reflected star light on the pilots uniform.
