Newcomer / Intro Is there any way to see the last system visited?

Just as the thread title asks- is there any menu option to show which system you visited last? I'd like to go back to the one I was in at the start of the week, before my last jump, but I didn't write down it's name...

It is your session log.
  1. Select your right hand panel.
  2. Select "status"
  3. Select "Session Log" (3rd item down)
If its not there (only a short history available) then you could either look in your journal files or get a third party app like EDDiscovery to look at them for you.

If you're way out in the middle of nowhere, in space you've never visited before, then the "Visited Stars" filter of the galaxy map should be helpful. The visited star system that's closest to your current position is (presumably) the one you were in last.

Unless you're like me and keep doing loops around and around the same areas in the galaxy lol, but yes EDDiscovery will allow you to set a time and date range, so if you know the date you can just set it for that date and it will show all systems you visited that day.

I can't imagine playing the game without EDDiscovery running, it is just so useful in exploration, missions, everything really (and now there are so many more features that I have never even looked at).

P.S. Even just the renaming, conversion and save location of screenshots makes it worth it's weight in platinum. ;)

I agree, though I'm not a fan of the new 3D map. the POIs are far too small.
