Is this a new bug? Does anybody know this?

there is a problem with carriers and cargo the extent of how bad it is long it seems eg

happens after every maj update release horizons ,odyssey for eg and takes months b4 its in a good place again in my experience........bring back a free to all beta test option so play can continue uninterrupted is what i say so when finally released its in a far more playable release state

IMHO Frontier Bosses want to add new features to the game but ignoring the thousend of bugs. Apperently they ignore the fact that a game with many features will have no sucess when the whole game
is full of bugs. And one after another will deinstall the game because it makes no more fun. Why they aren't concentrate on bugs and then after the big part is running a new feature?? Dammed. David Braben

Ok, that's right. But there is an issue tracker! report the bug "and" look for friends who confirm that bug. The more report it the greater the chance FDev will fix.

I have the same issue, so I have mothballed my carrier and am doing runs into Sol. Which, of course, has raised another bug. After a rebuy because I got a Thargoid interdiction which went badly, I could not load cargo into my ship from any station in the trade screen in the rebuy ship. Only a complete log out and back in cured it. Maybe this is an old bug, who knows any more?
