Is this game gonna be like EVE at all?

As I just said in another thread... the focus is different. Ultimately EVE has become about Empire Building. Elite Dangerous is trying hard to keep the focus on the solitary pilot or a small group of pilots in a big universe.

that's actually pretty cool, might have to get a small group of friends together in the future to play alongside with.

So I have been playing EVE for around 5 months now and its a good game and all but im kinda of a casual player and EVE is a bit too much like real life to the point where it feels like a job.

I dont know if this question has been asked, but will this game be like EVE, ... ?
