Is this opperating as intended?

may be hoping im NOT exploiting...

Anything that allows you to make over 50m an hour, I'm going to say FD will consider an exploit.

I too assume you are talking about assassination mission sharing. Conch and I were talking about it the other day.

4 players, 2x10m assassinations each, each goes off and completes them, all return to hand in, the first player shares their 1st wing mission, three others hand in getting the money, mission owner hands in, then shares the second mission. Other players hand in, then missoin owner hands both in. Then player 2 does the same, then 3 the same, then 4 the same. Would be impressive to do it in 15 minutes, but yeh, definitely doable.

Hi RevCaoticFox,

It would be great if you could let me know what mission you believe to be paying these sort of amounts please.

Adam

See above adam. Thanks. I suppose the appropriate fix is to prevent mission sharing after the target is destroyed AND make sure nobody who didn't participate in the actual combat can hand in.

P.S. If you disable a third mission type in as many days, all hell is going to break loose, just saying. I will make some interestingly titled threads myself, you can be sure of that. Killing what mission gameplay there is is not a measured or appropriate response to a minor exploit

lol. There's no point hiding it from the rest of us, if you're prepared to share it with the guy who is responsible for closing it!!

Is my assumption above correct?

This is, if it's something that they have to take action on, we'll all know soon enough by the official thread being started in news bulletin forum.

dont worry... if i receive a message telling me that its opperating as intended... i will disclose it to all of you... thus EXPLODING my home system... lol

I believe the idea is that nobody else can use the potential exploit until it's closed, avoiding the usual gold rush.

It's obvious that FDev believe the only thing keeping their game together is credits and getting too many puts people off playing the game because they don't jump on these exploits like they do with bugs.

Priorities people!

The nerf train just reached ludicrous speed.

prepare it's sudden stop

If they want to time gate should bring back the lock on taking missions above your rank; or maybe let you take one above your rank. Just don't display them would be my preference, although if you see a mission you can't take may spur you on. There are no shortcuts to Elite in combat or exploration, even trading takes time.

or make missiosn simply generate opponents and tasks defined by your rank.

the issue is if missions get rolled and the majority is above your rank you can't take any or have a low selection. So they are basically lost rolls. better would be simply rolling X missions proper for someones rank.

With all the current gold rush and nerf action going on I'm wondering if they'll be many commands left with less than several 100s of millions of credits and whether those who don't feel like they've missed out..

I've avoided any of these things so far but I'm beginning to wonder if that was a mistake. If all the new stuff starts costs many many millions or billions and there are no gold rushes left perhaps that just makes me a bit silly for not jumping on them while I could?
Anyway..

They'll ban wing missions next - nobody's safe - run to the hills!!!!:eek:

Ooooh, if they remove all wing missions then more of the old missions can generate in the boards again, and it might be possible to find me some surface salvage missions once more!!! :D

Sure, but the one I described is not place dependent, so now I'm naturally assuming that my assumption is wrong and I've given away a different exploit. lol
