Actually a top down view of a Star system would help a ton in exploring it. It would allow a much improved way to plan how discover the system in the most efficient manner. I bet it would not take much to add something like this.

If there is an add on or app for this then let me know, that would help a ton.

This is the View when using Oculus Rift. It looks super duper cool but it does take a little bit longer to navigate.

It's hard to show the scale but a typical yellow dwarf like our sun feels about 3M across in size.
