issue with orbital lines - cannot switch them off, once switched off - they stay in place - unbound to planets

Hi all,

anyone has got the same issue? Can't switch orbital lines off anymore. If I try then I've got a very strange glitch - they stay in place. Look at the gravity ring around the planet:

and now with orbital rings off and a bit movement:

I'm having a problem when I SCO boost, Exclusion Zone Rings stay on my screen for the duration of my super cruise until I reach port or high wake out of the system. I wanted to see if I key bind Orbital lines and I flicker them off and on, will it fix it but, I cannot seem to locate the Orbital lines key bind. I thought it used to be in SHIP CONTROLS > MISCELLANEOUS. Am I blind or did they remove it and we can only do it from Right Panel now?

Edit: Found the key bind, that just made things worse. Now like you, Orbital Lines are just stuck in the off status now.

It wasn't my friend as I used "orbital lines" and it doesn't came up with good results. ;)
That's because they're called "orbit lines" in the game. You over-complicated it with "orbital lines", which is the wrong terminology.

Nasty...
lucky for me i never turned them off and i dont plan to in the future, but some cmdrs like to keep them turned off
Same here. I find them to be very useful navigation aids.

pssst. pssssst. yes, you. pssssst. silent! I've got a contract for you. Find my English teacher and tell him he was crap and now some people from the lost island are bullying me because of my incompetence. :D

Yeah, and if I don't need them, I use the toggle to switch them off. Saves energy.

I feel the need to clarify I was only explaining why the search didn't work. It's quite obvious that English is not the native language for many posters here. The clarification was meant to help with that :)

It is always worth remembering that the search engine in the issue tracker is at least as bad as the one in the forums and simplify your search when nothing comes up also not everyone posting has the advantage of a good education in English especially native speakers so simple words can help.

I compromised due to getting tired of the 'fake tan' colour scheme and adjusted the colour and brightness of the orbit lines, among other things, to something less obtrusive which saves me having to look for the toggle.

Don't feel bad. I couldn't find the issue tracker until Shadowsog posted the link! I was looking on the forum....

Thank you very much. I thought it was just me at first.
