issues/bugs we've had since launch thread

I dunno about that - seems like mission board loading times were always crap on PS4 after the 2.4 update. One thing that definitely is "game glitchy" is the bouncing highlighter that makes selecting a mission further down the list a real pain. This is a very "amateur" bug that's been in the game since like forever...

I think someone should resubmit that one as it’s so annoying.

Remember to report these with step to reproduce them.

Otherwise it is simply like saying "There is a mouse in those 5 acre's of your field, somewhere'

I realise it can be incredibly frustrating to run into a bug.
But if they cannot be reproduced they cannot be fixed.

And unfortunately a lot of the time it seems many go "I shouldn't do their work, they should just fix it" instead of reporting them.

So hopefully everyone will do us all the favour and remember to report them.

Pretty much all the launch bugs were reported, the problem is FDev moves them off to the archive area, and putting them out of sight.
Then when the more odd bugs haven't been fixed they get forgotten about: Fdev think they're fixed, they don't occur enough for players to test, and older players leave.
So now we're still seeing launch bugs in-game, which may be reported as "new", but given the turn-over of both players and FDev support staff / community managers, they really are not new bugs.

The thread was less about reporting stuff (which most have live reports for), but to reminisce about the bugs that bugged launch players ;)

Well in that case:

yeah the board flipper - that's a real doozy - just keep scrolling to the top, scrolling to the top, scrolling to the....
The SRV 'whoops I got jammed on a steel cargo shelf at Davs Hope - thats a doozy too - thankful somehow mostly fixed last time I went there!
The SRV fell through the planet - haven't seen that in a while.
The Planetary marker under the planets surface - happened to me only once. Mission target was 200m below ground..real whopper of a challenge that was.
Invisible planets - you remember them - they were fun.
Remember the station security ships randomly ramming people dieing and you get the blame for ram killing - that was also fun - real fun times.

ahh the good ole days....I wonder what we get in 2020?
