Your Feature Request / Idea
Now this suggestion might be a little too difficult to do and probably something that we would not see in the near future, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway.
The dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park/World franchises are not entirely accurate and a major plot point in the novel and original film was that the genetic modifications caused genetic errors in the dinosaurs, such as being unable to see something unless it was moving and that the dinosaurs were able to change their gender. Given that this game has genetic modifications implemented into it, why can't errors such as these occur? What if when we modify the base genome, it increases the likelihood of a harmless mutation? Perhaps if we select modifications for each slot, it increases the chances of a mutation from 0% to around 35%.
Social dinosaurs with poorer sight could become frantic when others of their species are not moving/asleep, as they cannot find any others of their species to socialise with, so they explore more of their enclosure and call out in an attempt to find others. Carnivores with poorer sight could rely more on smell for hunting, where we see them sniffing the air more frequently when they search for food.
Males could look identical to their female counterparts, and we would only find out that we have mixed groups when females start to build nests and lay eggs - this is where this idea would get difficult as they would need to implement some new models and possibly young dinosaurs that hatch.
As I said, this is probably a really difficult idea that will probably not happen, but I thought that I would just suggest it.
