Due to a bug that was discovered by user The-Goat-Soup-Eater on reddit is is possible to get to atmospheric world planetary map. All you have to do is highligh button to show planet map on landable planet on System Map, then while mousing over an atmospheric world quickly press key that is bound to UI select (for me it is space), it requires very quick and synchronized action and many times it does not work, but once in a while it catches up and voilà - you get onto the map.
