It still looks like an alpha build. That same problems. No new ships or SRV, still only 3 suits, from new weapons only plasma, planet generation is same as in alpha (added only atmosphere color), until now planets are not higher than 0.10 atmospheres, no moon, optimization is better, but still very bad.


Congratulations. Probably someone remembers me, I said that alpha is a release, but without content, and so there is not even content. GG.

Turns out people were playing the Launch build since day 1.

Panther LX was found in alpha files. And also almost completely done new srv. Where is it all?

They probably should have called the test version the beta. Calling it an alpha was a mistake and set false expectations. A real alpha is not that close to the release version.

They literally said NO NEW SHIPS. It's not overly hard to grasp what that means.

But it wasn't feature complete either (asset variation and such). It was a mix, depending on how you define it.

The more I hang around these forums the more I'm of the opinion that too many people think that their mother's friend's, sister who works in the butchers down the road is an authority on everything except maybe cuts of meat.

They never said it was going to be delivered - in fact they specifically said no new ships or other vehicles at launch.

Because maybe they have built the models - or they are place holders. There are lots of reaons why live code might 'foreshadow' future features. It is called software development - it is complex and often you have stuff in code that isn't live.
