Although that is not true. I already bought the game when it was on sale. 8)

Is this from the server downage? or are they implementing the beta stuff already?

Downloading using the Steam Client/Beta option. Seems to be working as advertised.

Now I can play the LIVE version while I am downloading the Beta! :)

It appears to be larger than that, although the actual file size seems to be changing around over time which is odd. Initially listed as 16.8GB, and then dropped to 14.9GB once the download started. At least on the new Steam Client Beta download feature.

Mine seems to have settled in now at 14.9GB with 1 hour and 17 minutes to go. My DSL connection isn't that fast.

Are different sources uploading with different compressions? Or have different bases and different size because of making it compatible like potentially steam? There could be different reasons for that.

Der, I'm stupid. I can upgrade the game to test for linux compatibility... Off I go.
