If there is an area in the galaxy that can only be reached by fitting extra fuel tanks to an exploration-equipped ship, I'd like to know where it is. Because I've been about a bit, and never come across any:

Did you know.
There is something called Personal Preference.

Nobody here has ever Claimed that you cant do it without a Fuel Tank.
We said you can Strand very Fast in some Areas without a Fuel Tank.
And its a Hassle to Fly without it.

On my Current Trip I had several Times where I had up to 8 Brown Dwarfs.
And Sure there was always another Star around where I could Scoop.

But doing the Route with only Scoopables Selected would have meant 7-8 Extra Jumps even with the additional Jump Range.
And if I dont set the Route like this. I would have needed to do Manual Corrections to the Course 5-6 times during one 1000ly Course where I would need to get a Scoopable Star to Scoop Fuel and then do a New Route.
Thats quite a Hassle and very Annoying.


So as you said.
Suit Yourself.
If you rather do Manual Micro Corrections all the Time then this is absolutely Fine for you.

I do full 1000 ly Routes. And I dont want to Break off and Reroute several Times in that.
Thats pretty fast and allows me to just keep Jumping and Scoop when I run over a Scoop Star.

If you rather do shorter Routes or just change routes in between to get an Scoopstar in. Then that is perfectly fine.
Thats just how YOU like it.
BUT. It might simply not be what others Like.


So just Accept that others might have a different opinion because they have a different preference in what they like to do.
Really no reason to get Aggressive Mate.
