It's Too Easy For New Players To Get A Sidewinder. :)

I liked one of D'Bobe's talks, before the Kickstarter, where he spoke of starting on a planet, in a city, with nothing.

If that ever comes to pass, I'd buy an alt account.

Me too. So long as the game doesn't start with the player asleep on a bed and just waking up... :D

I’m the greatest employer ever. I just grabbed some random dude who was NOT a qualified pilot and slapped him with credits to sometimes remote control an SLF to take some of the heat off me. Dude doesn’t even have to touch the stick for days at a time and he has already made a million credits.

Only a million? My first crew member is a millionaire several times over (though I don't begrudge her that, as I certainly have more cash). What really bugs me is that her combat rating is higher than mine... :D

It's too easy for people to buy the game. It should require a Cambridge degree in shelf stacking.

If you start a new character at Asellus Primus, you can immediately deploy your SRV without ever launching your ship. You can go collect materials and pretend you're a mining slave who has to work their way up to a sidewinder.

way too much casual players here. [blah]

There are these days; yeah. While FDev certainly needs the funds to keep developing it, part of me is sad that in order to do so they've been dumbing the game down ever since I bought it (shortly before Horizons) in order to attract new buyers.

Don't get me wrong; it's still a great game, just not what it could have been.

When I was beta testing the original beta, I had to suicide and reincarnated about a hundred of times just to test how many rebuys I could get with my insurance. Such fun days...
