Iv never played a game before that made me shake with dread. ED just did that!

Im flying a type 7... With no shealds With a hull full of palladium... erm.. i think im gonna Upgrade my lifesuport and get some shealds and sheald cells as latley i have been putting all my eggs in the same basket.. i would be gutted if i lost everything now.. gets me thinkiing.

How did 6 pull you out? Or did they just warp on quickly? If so that is a very good team to get someone and have everyone else lock on the wake that quickly.

It was so hectic, and visous, I didn't have time to study the radar, could have been npc's, but I'v never seen npc's gang up like that, so I assumed they must have been commanders. But if commanders can't gang up like that, then they were npc's

This type of scenario is exactly what I remember of the original Elite. Being attacked my more targets than you can handle and just holding on till I get to the nearest station. This is why we need interdiction in the game :)
So iv been trading like crazy making my way up the ED ladder, got a Type 7, traded like crazy, pimped it out to what I needed, which left me low on cash. Bought 232 tons of palladium, and off I went to sell it.(I don't know how many hours it has taken me to get this far, but iv basically devoted myself to this game since launch, even bought a Saitek X55 to play it with. Spent a couple of days of intensive scouting for better trade routes and many, many hours trading). So there I am in supercruise without shields, nearing my station, and I get interdicted. Ok Iv been interdicted before I know what to do. I almost always can evade. Could'nt evade, So I get pulled out of super cruise, and gunfire POURS down on me, I check the radar, and there about 6 of them, maybe more!! I go into mad evasive action, and realise for the first time that I'm not gonna make it. Then this terrible thought enters my mind....... DID I LEAVE ENOUGH CASH FOR MY INSURANCE (1.7 MIL). I quickly go to my systems panel and Noooooooooo I have 1.68 mil.I go into even madder evasive action, their all over me, I'v never been hit by more than one guy before. For the first time I eject all my cargo, hoping that will get these guys off me. No such luck.My windshield suddenly cracks, I am sweating now, and I realise that I am going to have to start all over again with 1000 cr and a Sidewinder! Noooooooooooooooooo Nooooooooooooooo, sob, I really don't know if I have the heart to start over. BAMM my windshied gets blown away, fire is pouring into me, can't get away, hull down to 15%. I even considerd coms, and pleading with them, but didn't have the time.I'm looking at my cooldown rate, so I can re enter supercruise, SLOW, SLOW, I'm not gonna make it. I started to shake with dread, I really mean that I was shaking, and then the cooldown drops to zero and I re enter super cruise, with 6% hull and no windscreen, 4 mins until my air runs out. I re enter normal space, on the far side of the station of course, and tear toward the station, heart beating fast, do the sharpest turn at full throttle, to line up with the slit, quickly get docking permission, and there is a Type 7 inching though the slit, I slam on the breaks, 3 mins and counting. This was so serious that if my messed up, its back to the start. I am shaking so much that I hit the side of the dock. Hull down to 2%, clock ticking. Zoom round the T7 when he finally got in, and shot off to my parking space. Then Red warning comes up...... wrong docking bay, oh for heaven's sake turn around line up with the correct bay (behind me of course) get to the bay turn round again, and YESSS I land.I MADE IT.I think I'm going to go lie down in a darkened room now for a while.

If it were 6 Commanders than they should be more than ashamed that they didn't manage to bring down a lonely shildless Type 7!!
So you can book that as a big victory over them.

I've seen, last night infact and got it on video, about 5 NPCs ganging up on one NPC criminal. Quite amusing but he/she was quite tough. Then the NPC that pulled me out as well, I got a bit of damage because I couldn't get behind him/her but eventually did and inflicted some damage back. Then about 4 NPC police turned up to help me out. Nice :)
