No prob. You had a legit reason for what happened then, not knowing me or my sense of humor at the time. And like I said then, I'm perfectly able to accept some of my type of humor is offensive to others and not use it online after.
Also, there's no way I'm leaving Elite or the forum until they close the servers.
My final word: don't blame yourself. It happens. Your sense of humour is NOT weird/offensive/whatever. It's fine. What I object to FAR more is people who seem to oppose any levity, just because they want some sort of answer. What I find worse than anything is when a point is made about the potential offensiveness and then the poster becoming aggressive. I deal with those as I do in RL. Anyone who sees the point being made and is ok, then I'm ok. You were more than fine when we locked horns. I'm proud to consider you a friend. Others, though?... Hmm.
Note all of the above is my take on inter-personal interaction of any kind. I stand by that. If someone disagrees, present cogent arguments and we'll discuss. Act a fool, expect a takedown. I maintain that this is still one of the best, most friendly, most helpful, and most fun forums online. Period.
