I've discovered how to have unlimited animal storage!

OK so I've been playing Franchise mode. As more and more DLC released I found myself having no storage space in my trade centre. This completely killed the fun for me and I felt as though I couldn't have fun and breed new species I'd paid for without sacrificing all my breeding stock / bloodlines. As a result I wasn't playing anymore. I missed the game, but I couldn't handle having so little storage for my breeding projects.

I then had a bright idea. For 100cc you can open up a new franchise zoo. I put down a trade centre and hired tons of caretakers. I then placed down a path with 2 largish null barrier enclosures and closed my zoo. I then poured my entire contents for certain species out of my trade centre and into that one the null enclosures. When all the animals were in there I crated them and paused my game. I did this a couple of times in the zoo with about 3 species and then I named the zoo to all the species names and quit to menu.

My quality of life has been improved so much. That 100 cc is insignificant and basically nothing to me. The zoo doesn't need to be self sustainable because it will forever be on pause unless I need to add new animals to the zoo. I can make dozens of these cheap and fast to setup storage zoos!!! It's revolutionary for me!!!!

I honestly can't believe I never thought of this sooner. Now I can actually play the game and enjoy the DLC I've paid for!!!!!

Storage space is indeed way to low..

But when you place new animals in the 'storage' zoo, the other animals start aging when the caretakers bring the New ones to the habitat.. So it is not great unfortunately

It is unfortunate, but what I've done to reduce that is I keep the trade centre right next to the enclosure gate. I also have a tiny path so caretakers are always on hand. Finally I keep a zoo to store like 2 species tops.

I don't use this storage method for species I'm actively breeding. I use it to store my breeders once I'm tired of breeding that species anymore. Originally I had to just sell all my animal bloodlines whenever I wanted to breed the animals I paid money for.

This method is better for when you have like 20 breeders stockpiled and want to dump them somewhere (instead of deleting them). I agree there should be more animal storage available. I find it very unfair how low it is and I know 99% of the player base who plays the most agrees with us.
