Yup. Lockdown state removes some services.
It lasts a shorter time if people bounty hunt. I'm headed to the Haz RES near Shinrata Dezhra AB 3 if anyone wants to join me.
Keep calm and report to FD. Chances are they'll fix it in the morning.
There has been a myriad of tools at Jameson Memorial recently. Unfortunately there are many tools who are now 'Elite', with a mental age of about 13.
There's nothing to fix. Lockdown removes most station services. Business as usual.

Jameson Memorial (and Shinrarta Dezhra) is designated as protected from certain PP\BGS effects.
In other words, it isn't supposed to lose its outfitting. This wasn't a problem before 2.1 and its changes in how lockdowns work. When FD introduced these changes, they probably forgot to write in a piece of code that would protect Shinrarta (like the one that protects it from PP). Last time lockdown happened, they stepped in and fixed it manually.
I wonder if FD would also make it so that being Hostile to the Pilots Federation will still allow you to dock, since access to it needs to be protected and all...
Though I do recall the protections extended only to Powerplay, not the BGS.
This is completely screwed up and out of control. Can we please have SD fixed??? This is upsetting a lot of people.
There is no Black Market there so it wasn't UA bombing.
There was barely any crime there until this morning.
I just went there, dropped into a signal zone. There are Wanted ships there and some wreckage. They open fire at me, I fire back and I become Wanted too and there is 170CR bounty on my head. I jumped out of the system. Jump back in and there is no bounty and I'm not Wanted.
I get interdicted repeatedly by the security forces "for inspection", but they don't scan me, they just fly away.
This can't be normal.

I wish the Solo mode existed in a separate universe from the Open mode. How good is it that I can play alone or with friends if we're still exposed to the effects of the general atery of the Open mode?

As I said, it wasn't a problem before 2.1. Now it is. FD said after Segovan that they would make some changes in lockdown mechanic in order to prevent abuses, but with 2.2 and all I guess it's low on their priority list.
Signals Sources tend to be a bit like missions. There's a 'thing' going down that can have unpredictable outcomes.
You need to hand in bounties for The Pilots Federation.
Try a Res or the Nav beacon.
Don't shoot until you have finished your KWS.

In Beta anyway, Dalton in LHS 3447 does.....but in the live game I haven't been there since I started the game so no idea whether just a Beta thing.....
Failing that, parking yourself in Li Yong Rui space not only gets you the 15% discount on ships and modules, but you can usually (I use Inara.cz) find everything within a hop or two....
There is one planetary base with all ships and outfitting options. But it has higher than normal prices for all stuff. Can't remember the name of the base or system but after successful CG that base got all outfitting options and ships. The CG happened during spring so finding it could be hard.
