Jameson Under Attack?

No problem. Pretty much any ship will do. However, keep in mind that when you dive into the attacked station, you will have to do it manually. The auto dock will not be working. That being said, some ships are better than others. I'm running with a T-8 and managing 10 passenger missions, and 10 Evac wounded missions every trip. Now, the only ship I would not recommend is the Baluga. Mainly because of that tail. You don't want to get hung up on the mail slot by that tail. Unless your piloting skills are up to snuff for it.
As far as loadout goes. You don't want shields. Shields build your heat. The bugs see you easier when you run hot. So, you want at least 2 heatsinks min, and 2 ECMs. Most people will tell you to equip a Shutdown Field Neutralizer. I found this a waste of space for me. I have my A rated power plant grade 5 engineered low emissions with thermal spread. My thrusters are A rated grade 5 Dirty drives with Drag drive. Don't worry about the heat thrusters generate. Your power plant produces more heat. Then my FSD is class A grade 5 Long Distance with mass manager, my life support D rated light weight, Distributor is A rated Grade 5 Charge enhanced with Flow control. You can go with Thermal on the distributor also. Either will work. Finally, Sensors are class D light weight. Armor is the standard light weight armor engineered to Grade 5 Heavy Duty with deep plating. Now on the optional internals. Because Shin Dez is only one jump from the rescue ship, you can split most of the optional internals as evenly as you can. If you think you have room for Hull Reenforcements, go for it. You won't be dealing with caustic damage unless one of the bugs manages to hit you with a caustic missile, but that's one of the things the ECMs are for. I hope this helps. There is a very nice bright side with engineering your modules for Evac, the same engineered loadout works VERY well as a Smuggler Ship. When finished, your natural running heat should be around 14 to 17. You will build headt like you wouldn't believe when you're perma-boosting and spooling up that FSD. Expect to be hyperdicted on your way out, and on your way to Jameson. Just heatsink, ECM, and boost away. Just run. You won't need ANY weapons.
I really hope I covered everything and didn't make this to long.
Good Summary - I used to do evacs (missions) from Invasions with exactly that loadout (on any ship)

The Orca is fast, can carry a reasonable number of passengers, but getting it to run cool might be a task...
This might work, a lot of engineering in it though.
I think the absolute best ships to choose from would be the Krait Phantom, Krait MKII, and the Python. Not the Python MKII. If you have access to the T-8, like me, then that would also be a fantastic choice. Other ships work as fun challenges you can give yourself to change things up. I have to admit, I've done so many trips in and out of Jameson the past two days, I'm boosting my T-8 in and out of there like an Eagle pilot taking little to no structural damage. That T-8 boosting just south of 400 m/s is nothing to sneeze at going through the mail slot. I really had to bite the bullet when I did it that first time.

Yeah, it really works well for Evac missions from attacked Stations, burning stations, and smuggling illegal goods for the black market without getting caught. And thanks for the compliment. I tried to keep it simple.

Used to love doing the burning stations stuff - was unique and don't know why they stopped.
I really miss burning stations too. I loved diving in with the explosions, dodging debris, and trying to land on your pad while trying not to roast. In theory, when Jameson is no longer under attack, it should enter the burning state. But, we shall see.

Orca is actually VERY efficient with its heat. That is the reason it's my non-combat Titan ship! (Caveat is - all the engineering is done towards heat efficiency).

Build: https://edsy.org/s/v73R9Oz (adjust equipment as necessary)

I have access to every ship available today to buy / pay Arx for. (apart from the Cobra IV, of course)
I also don't rescue folk, normally quite the opposite ;)

It was just a suggestion for a fast ship that could carry a bunch of passengers - although filled up with hull reinforcements, it does make a great ramming ship 🥳

Ok, a first attempt at a silent runner. Never did the illegal stuff so this is all new to me.

Not crazy about running shieldless in a hot zone, but IIRC the shields are disabled when running silent anyway?

Thanks. I did transfer one of my Corvettes to the rescue ship. Someone said there maybe weapons I can outfit that will kill these things?

What special permissions/licenses/engineers do I need for these weapons?
If you’ve not done AX before … probably best not to start in a Corvette … it’s nowhere near fast enough to escape and a very expensive rebuy.

You want a Krait or a Chieftain.

Remove shield boosters, you're not carrying shields.

EDIT
99,9999% of all this is based on you boosting away, being fast, faster than 500, running, never in the range of Thargoid weapons. Whenever in crisis boost, pop out Heat Sink, boost boost, then the next Heat Sink... you won't need it third time, you will be able to jump.
Boost, boost, boost, jump.

EDIT 2
For this, being faster than 500 all the time is immensely more important than being cold.

LOL...Yea, I decided to delete the shield generator and forgot the boosters. I would have caught it when I build the ship. Thanks!

I used an Orca when last doing evacuations, it’s build was approximately as below as best as I remember because I have reconfigured it now.

It will run at about 16% heat 22% at boost, but the main point of it isn’t to sneak stealthily in and out it is to outrun almost anything.

Exactly. When engaging silent running the shields do shut down. I was nervous about running shieldless at first. Once you get used to the idea and develop a little confidence in your piloting skills, it's no sweat. The biggest worry for me is making sure I don't bump into anything very hard. Make sure when landing, go easy. Unless you have full integrity and you're in a hurry. Because you can take damage just from a hard landing on the pad.
