Joystick curves and control

Wouldn't it be nice if FD were to put some more control options in? Like Joystick and throttle CURVES so we can adjust all our balances. More hot-keys would be nice also like for docking. But not being able to adjust the curves in the game control setup is kind of a pain in a simulator. So how about it?

Why aren't you adjusting your curves with your controller software? With so many setups available, that's really a feature that should be provided by your hardware manufacture, not the game developer.

Not all sticks come with software to do that I'm afraid, especially the cheaper ones. And if it's in the game, it would work for all sticks - most sims do it that way after all. Not that I found it necessary to fiddle with curves in Elite.
