  • My thoughts that they should add to Jurassic Park 30th anniversary dlc
    1) Maps and plant life
    - New bigger 1993 map with better water fall

    2) Decorations
    • New tree and plant decorations even giant trees
    • New fountains and lanterns in Jurassic Park era
    • Jurassic Park gate the guests can walk in on paths
    • " When dinosaurs ruled the earth" banner to put on paths
    • Visitor center skeleton decoration
    • Destroyed Jurassic Park tour vehicle decoration
    • mini water falls
    • Raptor paddock decoration with better lighting
    • Bathroom and destroyed bathroom from the t rex escape scene
    • broken log plant decoration
    • Mr DNA 🧬 statue
    • John Hammond statue
    • Emergency bunker decoration
    • Dirty and muddy east dock decoration sign
    • Dinosaur paddock signs
    • Dinosaur Egg nest
    • Crane and Dino cages and cow

    3) Buildings
    • New Version of heli pad
    • Better version of amenities and decorations for amenities
    • Aviary with cliffs decorations to put inside and a parachute decoration like Jurassic Park 3

    4) Attractions
    • For the Jurassic Park tour add tunnels for track
    • Hot air balloon
    • Aviary viewing gallery tower to put inside

    5) Enclosures
    • New bigger fences
    • New Version of gates like double door opening
    • Live bait Cow
    6) Vehicle skins
    • New jeep skins from the film 1993
    • New helicopter skins

    7) Dinosaur skins
    • Trex (30th anniversary gold) 1993
    • Velociraptor (30th anniversary 1993 skin)
    • Brachiosaurus (30th anniversary skin) 1993
    • Dilophosaurus (30th anniversary skin 1993)
    8) Capture mode
    - Jurassic Park 30th anniversary postcards and logo

    Hope these ideas will maybe appear in the game

It would be great to have beef cattle as alternative to goats. A number of us would like to see the carnivore species that did not appear in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis and being exclusive in the Jurassic World: Evolution 1 & 2 hunting beef cattle.

We all want Microceratus to be added.

What about Mussaurus, Hypsilophodon, Segisaurus, and Hadrosaurus?

Better yet, give us a Socotra Island (where the Prologue was filmed) DLC map! It doesn't even need an attached Campaign / Chaos Theory mission, though this would be nice. I expect that this would cost money but am fine with it, as the Expansions have been pretty good bang for your buck in this game, especially compared to the species packs.

I'm glad it's free. Nobody should be excluded from canon-based content. I'm just wondering how big this update will be.

No it isn’t. We are still missing skin variants from the original triology and the last Dino needed to make a movie accurate JP. With the state the game is Fronteir is OUT OF THEIR MIND if they think I’m going to spend more money on this dysfunctional product unless it’s something big like a 30th anniversary. Honestly from what Info we have gotten the lack of anything more than free decorations still don’t even make the current game I paid for worth the money.

I haven’t even bought the Malta DLC because I knew It’d break the game more and I was right. Same with the feathered DLC.

Unless the upcoming DLC adds segisaurus and the last missing Dino variants from at least the first two movies, the game’s celebration for the 30th anniversary seems like at dud at this point. Especially since the players have been asking for these since JWE. Honestly these things should have been in game since launch.

Exactly. Frontier’s intentional silence is not doing itself any favors in this scenario. Especially in my case. I’m happy I spent my money on Fortnite’s Clone Trooper skins. At least they know how to respect an up on a special day for the franchise. Probably won’t spend a dime on Fronteir for quite a while given how bad they have been at constantly breaking the game.

Honestly this should be telling to the fans because it has been clear since launch we wanted something big for the 30th anniversary even if we had to pay for it. The mostly silence from Frontier and what little info we have kinda shows where the priorities are. We need more JP content. The JW are just bad for the most part in both story and the actual creature designs and honest JW as a location is just meh. The futuristic theme of its architecture just killed the appeal of a prehistoric zoo. Too much Jetsons and not enough Flintstones. Both JP 1993 and San Diego were waaay cooler locations and one of them was more like a conventional zoo than an actual resort.

It's especially frustrating since the original concept art was  Perfect!

I always knew there wouldn't be any DLC, no matter how big or small, that's "30.th Anniversary" themed, centered, or named because all of the ideas I've seen everywhere, no matter how hard they try to make them sound so, never actually fitted how Frontier builds every one of their DLCs across both JWE games. Long story short, because of how they make JWE PDLCs, there was no reason for me to ever believe any of that overhyped speculation would come true.

But, since there will be a free update to coincide the celebration as I predicted, I'm almost sure it will add content from not just from Jurassic Park itself, but maybe the whole film series. "Packs" on the other hand, doesn't necessarily only mean multiple just small dino packs or anything of the sort for the summer, as they could just mean in general for the rest of the year, and expansion PDLCs are technically also called "Expansion Packs."

But, if there will be multiple DLCs for the summer, my best guess is a single major expansion pack, as well as a smaller standalone dino pack that's not like the others that may just include the three JWE1 Dr. Wu hybrids maybe as a 5.th anniversary celebration for the JWE game series, or even just the Dominion Microceratus with a title something like "Dominion Microceratus Pack" with the amber style tag for the 1.st Anniversary of Dominion and the end of the main story.

I hope the future packs planned are Frontier originals. They did an awesome job with the feather pack. I can imagine species that have little to no connection to the JP/JW franchise that could be introduced to the game. Whether it is based on geologic time period, or geographic places where the fossil remains were found.

I’m pretty sure that smaller dino packs will be Frontier original like all their non-film/series focus specific DLCs. After all, and nobody as far as I’m aware has pointed it out, none of the on-screen and Frontier game species (including those that were mentioned anywhere in the film series universe) are ever mixed together in any way, shape, or form in all JWE PDLCs. Another reason as to why I knew a 30.th anniversary DLC was fundamentally not possible.

So if we will see more on-screen species, I can guarantee you they will be mixed together in a cohesive way as they’ve always done in both games, and more original Frontier dinos not seen on-screen in smaller dino packs, or even a unique type of expansion that I’ve speculated elsewhere in the forums.

I don’t want to be mean…but that is literally the worst and dumbest idea for a DLC skins and I would surprised if anyone bought it. We already have the 1993 skins for these dinos. What we really need are the remaining movie skins we don’t have. Who wants to have a gold T. Rex in their parks? If I want metal Dino’s I’ll play Ark Survival.

Careful, ARK: Survival Evolved is time-consuming.

It is hard to say what we will be getting in late June or early July of the year 2023.

I am never into decorations even if we are getting those as part of the free update.
