Thank you so much for the kind words! Time for the next update, and you are right @Morales ...
PART III: LOST WORLD (cont.)
ISLA SORNA, 1997
As a result of the San Diego incident, the Ethical Negligence within Paleo-Genetic Resurrection (ENPGR) Bill (aka the Gene Guard Act) is passed by the US House Committee of Science. With the backing of John Hammond, this bill grants resurrected dinosaurs the same status and rights as other endangered species, restricts access to Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna, and prohibits any further cloning of extinct animals. John Hammond dies later in 1997, entrusting InGen to his friend and fellow businessman Simon Masrani.
ISLA SORNA, 1999
100 days after purchasing InGen, Masrani Global illegally resumes operations on Isla Sorna under the codename “Amalgam Testing" as early R&D for Jurassic Park's second iteration. Geneticists complete the genetic code of existing unfinished genomes in InGen's stock, and clone Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus and Corythosaurus. The operations are infiltrated by BioSyn agents. This research eventually leads to the full production of new dinosaur stock for what will become Jurassic World.
Spinosaurus, theorised by some as the first viable dinosaur hybrid experiment by Dr. Henry Wu, is cloned and left on Isla Sorna, regarded by Dr Wu as an “accident”. The introduction of the newly cloned dinosaur species leads to ecological collapse on Isla Sorna - later dubbed the “Chaos Effect” by Dr. Ian Malcolm in his book “God Creates Dinosaurs”.
