JP has a different economy and it is a separate mode of play. They could even expand on this much better idea but of course people will probably ask to combine JW + JP buildings for some reason and they'll abandon anything like that...

You can get every dinosaur in sandbox anyway, no matter the era.

Paleobotany, Dr. Wu genes, and many other DLC objects would be great to use in the JP era. Meanwhile, the JP tour and its decorations would be great for the JW era.
Just because you don't want to mix and match doesn't mean everyone should be outright denied the option to be able to do so, especially in sandbox mode.

It's simple. If they add the option to mix the era's, you don't have to do that. However, there's plenty of people who would like to mix them, including myself. I think it would be interesting to have one area of the park JW themed, and another area JP themed.

The only thing, if they allow era mixing - they have of course to make choices about what stays and what doesn't. Some buildings are incompatible.

The fact that you can't combine them in sandbox is odd. They should fix this eventually. But the people complaining about how they can't mix JP themed game assets in the main campaign that basically centers around JW do come off as a bit ridiculous.

Fair enough, I share the sentiment but only when they make the JP experience complete by adding the stuff they unjustifiably left out.
