If anything PC has the opposite problem. When using commands, there's a chance a ranger team will just start driving in a straight line and get stuck on buildings.

Interesting, I've never encountered that problem.
I just tried using the keyboard to drive in the 1st person and it worked fine. Issue appears to be with the console controller which I normally use with PC.
Next DLC release date?
It's probably going to be sometime in June. Frontier has already confirmed a free decorative update tying into the Jurassic Park movie's 30th anniversary. Jurassic Park released on June 11th of 1993. The DLC will likely be released on the same day as the free update, as has been the pattern with Frontier.
