Jurassic World Evolution 2: Prehistoric Marine Species Pack and Update 7 coming August 10

Yes, they never said it, but it is highly requested creature. I would immediately switch Shonisaurus for Megalodon. And honestly partially it is their "fault" because community is asking for it.
This pack is quite literally four of the top five most requested lagoon animals from the big species wishlist thread. Only Dakosaurus was requested more than Nothosaurus. Megalodon was at number six, tied with Dolichorhynchops, Pliosaurus and Xiphactinus.

Species packs never have more than 4 or 5 animals in them. Frontier pretty much added the most requested ones.

Ichthyosaurs have nearly similar body shapes and behavior to dolphins.
So a few similarities and suddenly people can't tell them apart? Sounds unbelievable... especially when you consider the obvious differences as well, like the structure of an ichthyosaur's tail being completely different, which also meant it could never swim like a dolphin. Also, how can you say dolphins and ichthyosaurs behave similarly when we've never seen a living ichthyosaur? Or that dolphins clearly had much bigger brains and thus were significantly smarter and thus engage in behaviors we can easily assume an ichthyosaur would never do?

One thing ichthyosaurs share with dolphins is that they give birth.
I'm going to assume you mean live birth, since all things that reproduce sexually give birth... and FYI, lots of marine reptiles did that. We have direct evidence of live birth in multiple marine reptile groups, and for many other animals like mosasaurs, the idea of them hauling their bodies onto land to lay eggs is ludicrous.

Do dolphins bore any of you now?
What does that have to do with anything?

Skill issue
...what?!

I reached the point of preferring to see ichthyosaurs over dolphins.

In ARK: Survival Evolved, Ichthyosaurus pose no threat to humans.

The larger Shonisaurus is going to be added to this game, it makes me question would Shonisaurus do the same.

Disappointing. Tarbosaurus is the wrong dinosaur for this DLC idea. I would go with Zhuchengtyrannus.
If they're seriously gonna force Tarbosaurus in because of CC, then Zhuchengtyrannus should be among the last dinosaurs considered for inclusion... what would it add that Tarbosaurus doesn't?

I've been nicknaming it the Dunkle. It just sounds funnier to me.
I call it Dunkie (or Dunky) myself...

Under da sea! Under da sea!
Darling, it's better down where it's wetter, take it from meeeeeee~!

This is so good. Shonisaurus, the real-life leviathan of marine reptiles reaching 21 meters in length. The king of the turtles, Archelon. Straight from Camp Cretaceous, the fan favorite Nothosaurus. And a surprise guest, the armored scissor-jawed Dunkleosteus. Along with floating islands for Archelon and Nothosaurus and an awesome underwater viewing dome. Can't wait to see what's coming in the free update, hopefully social and environmental interactions for marine species, fixes to bugs like the animals being too high up when releasing and being almost out of the water when at the surface, and the animals utilizing the entire depth of the lagoon instead of just staying in the top 1/3 for 95% of the time.
As well as the Dominion feathered species issues with the feathers and not being able to drive in first person while in all vehicles.

I would love a Cenozoic pack, I want my Smilodon, as for the hybrids give the three from the first game for free but give us Spinoceratops, Ultimasaurus, velocirapteryx, and paradeinonychus as pdlc, and with the hybrid dlc they could do a Mantah Corp expansion showing Dr Wu and his connection to the company do to the fact that one of Mantah Corps mercenaries helped Wu then they can add brad ranger outposts ex., as for the Cenozoic pack Meg, Smilodon, Mammoth, and Argentaivs would be my choices, and finally Tarbosaurus, Microceratus, gigantoraptor, and Nemicolopterus for an Asian species pack
