Jurassic World Evolution 2: Prehistoric Marine Species Pack and Update 7 Out Now!

I love the content and up dates this game continues to improve but for future content my dream content, I would love a Cenozoic pack, as for the hybrids give the three from the first game for free but give us Spinoceratops, Ultimasaurus, velocirapteryx, and paradeinonychus as pdlc, and with the hybrid dlc they could do a Mantah Corp expansion showing Dr Wu and his connection to the company do to the fact that one of Mantah Corps mercenaries helped Wu then they can add brad ranger outposts, brad x paleo medical facility the missing skins tree house hotel Jurassic symbol rock decorations camp Cretaceous jeep skin ex., as for the Cenozoic pack Meg, Smilodon, Mammoth, and Argentaivs would be my choices, and Tarbosaurus, Microceratus, gigantoraptor, and Nemicolopterus for an Asian species pack, and throughout the species packs they could add the obvious bug fixes, and the Kelp/sea grass/coral brushes for lagoons, a submarine tour, all terrain brushes any map in sandbox, social animations from Mosa, and Tylo, social animations for flying reptiles as well as walking animations for fly animals, and make a toggle for first person so you can have a tranquilizer gun and flair and an option to turn off/on animal aggression towards you in first person

as for the Cenozoic pack Meg, Smilodon, Mammoth, and Argentaivs would be my choices
Why just 4? We need like more than that if we want Cenozoic creatures in the game for a better variety.
Here is my roster:
  1. Megalodon.
  2. Woolly Rhinoceros.
  3. Basilosaurus.
  4. Ngandong Tiger.
  5. Andrewsarchus. (I think Frontier should put both models of what Andrewsarchus might have looked like & delete one of them if one looks like the other.)
  6. Megatherium.
  7. Gastornis.
  8. Colombian Mammoth.
  9. Otodus Obliquus.
  10. Woolly Mammoth.
  11. Gigantophis.
I don't think Smilodon suits this pack.

Because all the themed animal DLC packs so far have had only 4 animals in them. With the exception of the deluxe pack that has 5. More than that would be highly unlikely to ever be added.
And if any, Smilodon is probably the most likely of any Cenozoic animal to be added since it was featured in Camp Cretaceous.

Since the feathered species pack came out all arrival points remain open even when turned off manually after loading a safe file.

This has not been fixed yet. Can this be changed please? It's annoying to close it again each time I load a new game.
(I have to close my parks because my PS4 Pro can't handle a park full of guests)

Thank you.

Dear game developers!
Or one or two problems with the new DLC. First: 2022 Nothosaurus skin? According to the story, it was encountered in 2015 on the Mantah Corp island, similar to Kentrosaurus. Second: why can't the Notho go on land? In the series it moved there and killed a Dilo. And I hope the next DLC will include Tarbosaurus, Microceratus or the missing hybrids from the first game.

Because frontier only releases four animals per pack, and Smilodon is a canon animal from the show just like Nothosaurus

Can anyone here spare a minute to look at this thread?

The year is correct. The season Nothosaurus was in was released in 2022. All the dated skins refer to the year when the film or series it was released in.
And it doesn't go on land because its a lagoon animal. The game doesn't support truly semi-aquatic animals. The devs would likely have to do a lot of changes to make that work properly. And for one animal, that's likely not worth the effort.

this is a nice update and an awesome DLC.

but i still have alot of bugs and it seems that there are a few more like the medium sizes marine species get stuck in front of the shark feeder.
old bugs like dinosaurs warping through fences are more common now. I have alot to do in my park as every few minutes a dinosaur escapes through a fully funcional fence :).

and some groups still have permanent panic and starve to death from not regenerating a zone and panic around till they die :(

edit: the favorite skin and randomizer in fav skins has a huge impact for me. this is a really big thing. thank you guys for that.

Kinda... The cool thing about the Jurassic Park franchise was how all movies took place the same year the movies are out. So 1993 for Jurassic Park, 2015 for Jurassic World, and so on, especially with how marketing in the recent trilogy used social media and websites to promote the movie as though it is happening in real-time.

Camp Cretaceous is the exception: while its run time is from 2020-2022, the story took place from the events of Jurassic World to Fallen Kingdom, from 2015 - 2018. That is why all camp cretaceous skins we have in the game that were labeled with a date would have the 2015 year attached to it.

If anything, I think it would be accurate for Nothosaurus to be labeled as 2018, as that is when season 5 took place (around after the events of Fallen Kingdom).

So, the Archelon likes small and medium-sized marine species, along with the Attenborosaurus and Elasmosaurus. Still, when I placed all three in the same lagoon together, the Archelon liked the former two but showed up as neutral for them.

Chronologically speaking, all seasons undoubtedly mainly take place in the year 2015. The main events of Fallen Kingdom do take place in 2018, (around) the same time as the film’s release, but the opening sequence takes place six months after Jurassic World‘s events.

Even the pilots who were involved in that sequence’s operations tell some of the campers who were with them the park closed “six months ago.” And by comparison, they’ve been on Mantah Corp’s top secret island much shorter than the six long months on Isla Nublar.

On a side note, I was surprised to know the Camp Cretaceous skin for it was labeled “2022” since all the other skin and variant year labels are when they technically and mainly appear chronologically in the overarching Jurassic series.

@Great Wolf If you have cohabitation issue, take it up in the thread "Dinosaur Cohabitation Amendments for Future Major Updates". Do not hesitate to speak up.

Fantastic job, Frontier. I love watching the new marine animals in action. Kind of wish the pterosaurs would perch on the rock platforms and it's a little funny seeing them try to land underwater. I noticed an issue with the old Dimorphodon variant, when I release them, the tail is hanging down for some reason, and when I release the Dominion variant for them, the tail is just fine. Could you fix that, please? Thank you.

I'd like to see the 1997 variant for Mamenchisaurus and maybe some new skins based on that. Same for the Dominion Parasaurolophus. I'd love to see more skins on them. I hope one day to see an update where herbivores won't have to panic when carnivores are close by, same goes for some of the marine animals. Like the scene in Camp Cretaceous at the watering hole.

I have a feeling that a flying species pack is next and would make sense to add more insectivores. As much as I'd like mammals added, I'm still hesitant, because the idea of having a very small portion of them in a dinosaur park is weird to me when the roster of Cenozoic is just as big as the game's roster, you know.

Here are the animals I really want to see added in.

Tarbosaurus, Microceratus, Protoceratops, Concavenator, Einiosaurus, Saltasaurus, Psittacosaurus, Hatzegopteryx, Hesperornis, Udanoceratops, Tethyshadros, Saurolophus, Masiakasaurus, Plateosaurus, Camptosaurus, Austroraptor, Tupandactylus, Archaeopteryx, Microraptor, Dolichorhynchops, Caviramus, Gigantoraptor, Leaellynasaura, Scelidosaurus, Yangchuanosaurus, Rajasaurus, Deinosuchus, Mononykus, Ornitholestes, Pelecanimimus, Dakosaurus, and Yi qi.

Thank you ;)

It is not just the dinosaur cohabitation element that needs attention and amendments.

I do have a question to run by almost everyone of you: are there any abnormalities about the new lagoon viewing dome?

When I was doing the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom challenge mode in Jurassic difficulty (which is the "Return to Isla Nublar" challenge mode), the lagoon viewing dome is in the surface above water instead of underwater like the recent livestream demonstrated.

The unstable part is that sometimes the lagoon viewing dome is in surface above water and sometimes it is in underwater.

Reddit is full of images like that atm. So yes, that's a bug many people all over the place are having right now. Can't say for myself because I haven't played/loaded a park with those in it yet. Still kinda baffling that such a huge bug wasn't noticed before release tbh.
