Jurassic World Evolution 3 Coming 21 October!

When will we have forum for jwe3? Can't wait to give feedback "mostly for t rex look"

Because when trailer got leak "feel sorry for the devs" alot player including me complain about t rex still using jwe2 model that felt inaccurate to jurassic world movies

And from what we saw male t rex looks also inaccurate not much dimorphism "there no much change from female and male just different pattern"

If there still variants here the idea

Female

Jp "based on jurassic park animatronic"

Jw "based on jurassic World Dominion ilm model"

Male

JP "based on jurassic park buck animatronic and cgi having it more bulky and having its iconic dewlap"

Jw "based on jurassic World Rebirth t rex more bulky"

Wow, saw the trailer. Nice terrain tools. Guests didn't look any different, though if the most crowded it got was capped at that..

The park decor looks alot more detailed which is exciting.

I know many dinosaur people wanted babies, sure they're nice, but babies wouldnt be a feature for me.

Hmmm... looking forward to more info anyway.

EDIT: I just showed my 8 year old son the trailer (who's spent many many hours in creative mode using the controller, absolutely loves it) and hes into the baby dinosaurs. Have to admit it when im wrong.

Doesn't change my opinion. And i still expect more advanced guests. Maybe ones that take out umbrellas in the rain etc and go into hotels at night apart from the keen ones.

I’m am super excited about JWE3, but one thing I must express is that we need every single species from JWE2 to come to this game before support ends we put in hundreds of hours making multiple parks using every species in evolution 2 dlc species and all, we are expected to pay a third time for a game that has new features that the modding community pretty much did for free for JWE2, so I expect every single species from JWE2 to be added to JWE3

This is way more than I thought it would be, especially for a title in the JWE franchise.

A couple things I expected, like no Cenozoic or other “key” species likecwhat JWE2 did, and deep water and water related stuff regarding the dinosaurs themselves. Others I didn’t, like the insane about of scenery objects, breeding-juvenile-and-family mechanics for over 70 species (way, WAY, WAAAAY more species than I thought they would do), extreme terrain customization features, proper dinosaur containment mechanics beyond fences and “exploits”, dinosaur sexual dimorphism, hatchery customization features exclusive to here, and more I haven’t listed!

Again, that’s more than I thought they would do! Now I understand what they mean by “most ambitious game” with the “without changing too much” which I can tell is the predecessor’s build as opposed to what PC2 did as they described in their reports on their website. I will be looking forward to see more of it for the coming few months, especially the Delux’s building/scenery set!

I am so happy for this reveal, until I read that two of the Deluxe Edition PDLC slots are Concavenator and Thanosdrakon which is basically what the company did with the Huyangasaurus in JWE2 Deluxe Edition. Are you telling me that the Frontier original hybrids as well the Megalodon will be occupying another DLC slot?

Thanks Frontier, I can finally relax with the wait for Evolution 3 over with. I was expecting Cenozoic animals, not babies, but I'll work with babies. I love the addition of sexual dimorphism, deep water, natural borders, and dinosaur encounters. I'm glad we're not going in the Rebirth route of reverting back to tropical islands and going to places like Japan and Hawaii. I'll miss the Chaos Theory mode, but I'm curious to see how the non-linear campaign works. I wish some more new animals were shown in the trailer, but I'm super glad that Protoceratops is finally coming along with Guanlong. Definitely getting the deluxe edition to get them.

I'm not sure what to expect on the 80 plus roster at launch, but I expect some new additions besides the deluxe animals.

Plateosaurus, Austroraptor, Leaellynasaura, Psittacosaurus, Archaeopteryx, Microraptor, Sarcosuchus, Dolichorhynchops, Scelidosaurus, Yangchuanosaurus, Einiosaurus, Lambeosaurus, Argentinosaurus, Shantungosaurus, Nyctosaurus, Pterodaustro, Yi qi, Simosuchus, Tethyshadros, Rajasaurus, Camptosaurus, Diabloceratops, Dakosaurus, Corythoraptor, Mononykus, Leedsichthys, Hesperornis, Cymbospondylus, Miragaia, Masiakasaurus, Postosuchus, Koolasuchus, Heterodontosaurus, Saurolophus, and Rhamphorhynchus.

I would love to see tweaks in the designs for Struthiomimus or Archaeornithomimus, Carcharodontosaurus, Barbaridactylus, Elasmosaurus, Liopleurodon, Tylosaurus, Diplodocus, and Pachyrhinosaurus, please.

I don't really know about that, and I wouldn't get too worried since October is a long way from today, and we'll learn more as the day comes closer.

"Over 80" species will be in the standard game, which means between 81 or 89 species will be in. But that doesn't answer if all of the 80+ species will be species from JWE2, or if any of them (I don't care to what degree if so, because I'm just generalizing here) will be new JWE franchise species. You know, species that aren't in either predecessor game.

I'm certain all 39 film species will be in, both species with CC variants (Kentro and Ourano), and likely those with likely future CT designs (Pachyrhino, Sucho, and Majunga). If so, then that's 44 total. That's based on how PDLCs work in every game in the world, how every JWE game dino roster always have every species from released films at the time of launch (all land for JWE1 and all three types in JWE2), and how Universal typically separates animated exclusive content from the canon live action related stuff (as in the ways how they do it) - which I believe is the same or similar treatment for JWE games (unless you get the PDLCs that have them, of course).

I had to sleep around the announcement cause it was 1:00AM when this was likely to be announced, but now after reading this, I do not need my coffee morning coffee to feel the buzz!

From the premise alone and after visiting the website, it looks to be really a spectacular next step for the franchise. JWE3 really needed to stand out more when compared to the predecessors and I am already sold. After going over the website, this looks to be a JWE game that has the custom modular building that Frontier Planet Series is known for, and I am very excited to see all the trailers, species profiles, and Developer Documentaries moving until the launch of the game!!!!

I ditto this request! I see there is a Discord setup but I personally do not have discord and I would love to discuss here in the Forums soon. It will be really exciting to frequently visit this forum again and speculate what is to come!

It's kind of a mixed bag for me. I didn't like that huayangosaurus was made into a deluxe edition dinosaur as that was a base dinosaur we have to pay additional for in JWE2, but at least the Deluxe editions in this game have 2 of them that were new DLC dinosaur from the previous game.

At the same time... I really need to see what the roster is like because, like how @gabeluna27 has mentioned, it is astonishing that they made families for over 70 animals, Males, Females, and Juveniles that would essentially lead to a new gameplay mechanic around raising baby dinosaurs and seeing new animations of them interacting with each other in new custom ways. It may be less than the final roster of JWE2, but the quality of the roster will get a significant bump!

I am curious to see if there will be any building limits a-la the console editions of planet games, as the introduction of Modular buildings would really set a limit for park building, but if it is like Planet Zoo Console Edition last year, I think that limit would be very generous.

I actually want to check something with you, cause I went to the Jurassic World Evolution 3 website, and there is text that says a firm 82 for the roster of "awe-inspiring pre-historic species" we could welcome to our parks in the Nature segment of "Build your own Jurassic World".

If we take that as the final roster of the base game, + the 4 for the deluxe edition, we would have 86 dinosaurs on launch day at the very least. Still, really impressive roster to start with, especially with them all presumably given the family treatment. I think all canon dinosaurs will be present at launch in the game, and I am curious to see how this will include the additional Jurassic World Rebirth additions, as the movie would have released 3 months before this game's launch. Curious to know if future additions could reintroduce the cut animals for free like how Planet Coaster 2 is reintroducing old themes, or if they will be future paid DLC considering the effort with the new additions.

Also, @Morales, if you check the link I shared above and check the decoration used for the Construct segment, you could see a Megaladon 👀.

And it looks like a Jurassic Park style Pteranodon as well. So I think variants would still be in the game.

If I were to assume, I think the dinosaurs that made a Cannon appearance are the ones that completely secured, as well as any new additions to the roster in JWE2 that the community particularly likes like the aforementioned Megalodon, Gigantoraptor, Minmi, Deinocherus, and Utahraptor. Those that are cut are likely those that are least used or could do with some model updates, like Camarasaurus, Tsintaosaurus, Archaeornithomimus, Deinonychus, and Liopleurodon. I think the Feathered species pack, Prehistoric Marine Species Pack, Cretaceous Predator Pack, and Park Manager's collection pack are in JWE3 from launch day. Again, it is really hard to imagine which of the 122 dinosaurs do not get in, and I am curious if that 82 base game roster count on the website is liable to change as we get closer to launch day.

I am curious to see what the final roster is like, right now, this game overall looks like really solid and really brings about all that the community could ask for for literal years. I am also excited to see that there are tables you could place that guests could sit on, that alongside the many statues of these animals, custom building, terrain, and new locations with the new babies and animations have really gotten me excited for Jurassic World Evolution 3's launch!

Thanks for the words, I really hope that we get more if not all of the creatures when JWE2 ended, plus new ones and Cenozoic.

Also, I saw this on reddit cause the website is bugged in Safari.

If we were to go with the assumption that 82 dinosaurs are in the base game, and 75 of those are breedable, then I would have an educated guess that the remaining 7 could very well be the hybrids so far, as they may be the ones who do not breed like how Mules and similar hybrids could not breed.

I am unsure if this means all 7 hybrids are back, or if this were to include the mutants in Jurassic World Rebirth too which would mean some hybrids are axed or there are more dinosaurs... As 75 could also include the 4 dinosaurs in the deluxe editions, would would make 11 unbreedable animals... Argh... brain hurts...

Personally I suspect the Rebirth stuff will be saved for paid DLC... also would be super wierd/annoying/outrageous if the deluxe edition animals--basically paid DLC--were counted among what is presumably 80-ish base game animals.

Two of the Deluxe Edition are from cut roster in JWE2, and they were PDLC creatures at that.
