Jurassic World Evolution 3 - Just a couple of ideas that would fit well if they made a 3rd game.

probably been loads of JWE3 ideas floating around but I have some ideas that wouldn’t necessarily fit with 2 and I wanted to open discussion on this. As it’s more a What If than a my ideas thing but it’s in the area.

So I was thinking… the movies has finished so nothing new just yet story wise to base a 3rd game so soon. But by this point Cabot Finch and crew are more or less Dino Park contractors depending on what the investor wants. Which I think opens up a whole new way to make a complete and separate reality that works to the side of JP movies but doesn’t effect any future movie.

Because I’m 3 they are building parks for investors in whatever design they want.

I mean you still have your JP JW Ingen Biosyn themes extra as an investor might want their own JP design. But the idea is essentially designing a park for the investor. Wherever the land is.

Which then made me think how would a park differ from each other in function. I mean a conservation, nature park, zoo, or even theme park would be different in how each would be designed.

Say what if you wanted in the style of Jurassic Park say . A nature reserve, so more about the environment than for visit. Or what if it’s a theme park. And this rollercoasters and other theme park rides.

That’s how I figure they could make JWE3 without effecting any future movie but at the same time it’s a long way before a new movie comes out so this would be a good way to continue the games.

I really don't see any new JWE games happening until a new live action film comes out. The fact that Universal tied both game releases relatively close to film releases and the way that Frontier practically ghosted JWE 1 makes me pretty convinced that that's Universal's strategy.

If they were to do a JWE 3 prior to any new films though, I definitely want to explore more of the world. JWE 2 so far only takes place in North America and Europe, not very global. Despite the short length, I actually really liked the DFW Campaign due to the relatively varied mission variety. I especially liked the parts where you're forced into operating vehicles, as this breaks up the usual gameplay loop a lot. Being tasked with building 5 star parks all of the time can become a bit repetitive. I agree though that building different types of parks would be a good idea.

I'm not sure what the story should be, but I think that any story beats should do what Dominion largely failed to do: actually thoroughly explore the reality of dinosaurs being loose around the world. There were a lot of cool concepts presented in Dominion that were then largely ignored, so the film could focus on locusts. These could be good opportunities for a game to explore these concepts. Some interesting ideas would be diving deeper into the black market, taking part in live captures yourself, selling dinosaurs as food (strongly suggested by the lampreys in the Malta sequence), selling dinosaurs and pterosaurs as pets, government contracts for dealing with dinosaurs, dinosaurs being used for people's general entertainment, etc.

I understand your concepts and ideas.
Actually, when i play JWE2, i always like to create something like a Natural Preserve, but with fences, on some maps. I build fences in the whole map, and i take care of the animals, while they just live their lifes in your respectives enclousures. And i always thought that the game could explore more of this concept, instead of just "Yeah! Build it! Reach 5 Stars!".
But, i'll also be honest. I don't need a third game. In my perspective, JWE2 has the great potential to be the definitive Park-Builder Game for the Jurassic Park/World franchise. And, if they announce a third game, and they simply silently abandon the second one, like they did with the first one, i'll be really p1ss3d 0ff.

I make your words my words. 😊

This is why I said a JWE3 would be great if it just spin off into its own universe so it’s not dependant on a film being released.

I mean they already have the elements to do so - Cabot Finch and Co. Are unique characters to the games for park building so why wouldn’t they be independent of Jurassic Park and be Dino-Park builders for the highest bidder.

Doesn’t effect the Jurassic Park saga in anyway. And you can expand outside of the remit whilst still having a Jurassic Park feel.

As I said in my original post. There is so many Varient Park ideas from Theme Park with Roller Coasters and rides, to Zoo, to nature reserve, to ecosystem, to scientific research facility

This opens up the world for maps plus you have six previous movies that you could provide JP DLC content to be added into the mix.

To be honest when you look at JWE1 to JWE2 I think the main reason we had JWE2 is because they kept adding mechanics to JWE1 that it became far away from its core game but too many new elements to manage as DLC but should be a whole new game hence JWE2 - I feel that’s where we are now with JWE2 that would move into JWE3

Universal is very protective of Jurassic Park just look at what happened to that Dreams fans game - they are looking to control how Jurassic Park is viewed. And as Jurassic World Evolution is a somewhat spin off alternate reality then as a franchise it would be a profitable gain for universal to continue this line of games.

But without a future film on the horizon as long as universal oversees it I reckon it would be a possibility. Fans are asking for games to be made and universal shut them down. But JWE is an approved Universal narrative.

So spinning off JWE3 to have its own world wide story featuring the characters from the game as main leads and occasionally having some OG characters pop up now and then is in my oppinion the best solution for them.

But let’s say they cancel Jurassic World Evolution I mean Universal removes the rights. It would be sad but this is one of Frontieers greatest games of all time. So why would they not release a Dinopark building game sans Jurassic Park a customisable dinosaur park that you can make and design how you want it to look.

More editable - dinosaurs probably would have a slight different look as you wouldn’t be able to use the JP design but there are a few Dino games that the dinos are different and they work. But we don’t have an Independent Dinopark builder.

So to me JWE3 or DinoPark builder whichever way they go with it would still be great.

Now that you've commented, maybe Frontier could make their own Dino Park-Builder game franchise.
With all that you talked about, they could make their own franchise, and making like scientifically accurate desgins for the Dinosaurs, for example. And they wouldn't use designs of the Dinos from the 'Jurassic' movies (just as you said).
Then, wouldn't be a "Jurassic World Evolution 3", but it would be it's own name.
Thinking in that way, i think it would be cool. 😁

Yeah, I almost always create nature preserves too. That's probably what my dream dinosaur park IRL would be, since it offers the most natural environment for dinosaurs. I'm not sure how I'd get guests up close to the dinosaurs IRL though. Luckily, the first person mode in-game means that this isn't an issue, and I get to experience my dream dinosaur park as though I were actually there on an up close and personal safari without having to worry about safety. This option, along with the very demanding guests, further dissuades me from wanting to build an actual park with and for guests. It was always the dinosaurs that attracted me to this franchise and these games, not necessarily the park aspect. I know that a lot of other players do care a lot about the park aspect, and I respect that. It simply never appeals to me as much as the dinosaurs do.

Frontier making their own dinosaur park game actually sounds like a great idea! The Feathered Species pack already shows what they can do when unconstrained by the franchise. Don't get me wrong. I do like the JP / JW / JWE franchise, but some of the designs (e.g. Deinonychus, Liopleurodon, Gallimimus, Spinosaurus, Dimorphodon) are either rather meh (if not atrocious) or outdated. Most dinosaur games aside from JWE 1 / 2 and ARK are flops. This is largely due to most of them being indie projects that never leave early access exclusively on PC, but it's still disheartening. Having the resources and promotion of a medium sized studio like Frontier could definitely help a dinosaur game become more successful without having to use the JP franchise name.

You and I are the complete opposite. I build commercial theme parks to squeeze every dollar from my guests. They almost all have big colourful strips of shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment, and meticulously manicured gardens. Vegas style lol! My dinosaurs learn to live with the bare minimum.

I think it's actually a pretty neat thing that you can have a game accommodate 2 playstyles like this.

Yeah, I think that this game's success comes from its very distinct player subbases. As far as I can tell, there appear to be three: 1. Those here for the dinosaurs. 2. Those here for the park building. 3. Those who are mission driven and play Campaign / Chaos Theory or Challenge Mode / Sandbox Mode that emulates Challenge Mode. Of course, one can be any combination of those three as well.

For me, guests are just annoying creatures that are overly picky and hog up the frame rate. They are dinosaur food! 😈

I'm just like you. What always attracted me to this franchise and these games, are the Dinosaurs. And i am like you said, i'm one of these players that cares much more with which species would be added to the game, than someone that cares to the park it self.
I completely respect the people that cares about the decorations being added, new attractions being added, and the park it self. I agree that these things are important and must be added more stuff like this, after all, that's what the game is about. But me, i just care about the animals. 😁

I agree with all that you've said.
There's a diversity of player, that can enjoy the game, playing the way they want to.

Not what I’m saying thought. I’m saying spin off from the Jurassic World Evolution world where you can still build a JP park or a JW biosyn you name it but it also has more unique park building elements

I understood what you've said. I meant that, you made me think, and i had the idea that, Frontier could make their own "not Jurassic Park related" Dino Park-Building game franchise.

I had an idea.
What if Frontier could make a Park-Building game with the Cenozoic creatures thematic? Many people here in the foruns suggests a Cenozoic DLC for JWE2, but what if we get a proper full game with the Cenozoic thematic...? The game could even be related to the 'Jurassic World' franchise, so they could use their original characters from the JWE games, to being in the game.
What do you think? 👀

Well i would prefere dinosaurs survival game (the isle and path of titan style) in unreal engine 5 (so they can use movie renders thanks to nanite without sacrificing detail)

I am having doubts of whether there will be a third instalment of the Jurassic World: Evolution series.

I guess people might want to try something different.
Most people want horror game/human survival type of game (similaire to the lost wild and instinction) i perssonally want dinosaurs survival game similar to the isle and path of titan

We already had 3 time park builder type of game for franchise(Jurassic Park operation Genesis. Jurassic World evolution 1 and 2) we dont need fourth one

And perssonally i would préfère to see next jurassic world game in ue5. They could use movie render instead of making new models (so more time at animation. Mechanics and programming)
