Newcomer / Intro Just got killed, who killed me?

Hi folks, just a quick question, I just got interdicted and was wondering if theres a way to see who it was that killed me after the fight? is there a combat log or something similar?

i failed to notice who was attacking me

It will say "SHIP DESTROYED" and then "Your ship has been destroyed by X" (where 'X' is the NPC / player).

Thanks for the reply, im now in the station, can i still see that message now its done and dusted? and if so how do i bring it up?

Nope, too late. Most likely an NPC though if you are just starting out. NPC interdictions are MUCH more common than commanders and there are quite a few shoot on sight NPCs out there.

You can take screen shots in ED using one of the F keys, 9 or 10 I think...that way you could record it if you wanted to. I have only used to take some pretty shots with the external camera.

If you bought the game through Steam, the F12 key is Steam's default screenshot key. Make sure in the Steam settings>In Game options, the save uncompressed copy option is checked so you can clearly read the text

That would be pretty good. More details on the ship would be nice too, type and load out at least. I was left wondering what the hell I'd just been hit with last night!
