Just my opinion on PvP in Elite: Dangerous

I see everyone is suggesting to run when interdicted by players. I'm a pirate and when I say to traders to not run or they will die, running is what kills them every time. In the past two days whole three traders succeeded by running and ~30 or so got killed. But all of those who did not try to run (~10), survived.

I know there are people who kill just for fun without saying a word, but if someone is messeging you you better do what is asked to to do, or get yourself killed.

Hmm - something is wrong here. I am in a Sidewinder and I have few issues with interdictions. Happens about once every few hours gameplay.

Question 1 - What system are you in - if you fly into an anarchy system expect trouble.
Question 2 - Its very easy to accrue bounties initially - are you flying around with a wanted tag on your head.

The bulk of the advice was based on Solo play. But agreed, if a CMDR is asking for cargo, give up the cargo. It's a small price to pay.

If you want to make it harder for others to interdict you you can stick to max throttle in supercruise until you are 7 seconds away from your destination as all ships have the same speed in supercruise. If you want to play save when someone follows you overshoot your target once and turn around as you can only get interdicted from behind. If they catch you either run like said before or if it is a player pirate who demands cargo and has a much bigger ship do what he says.
