Including all DLC. Did I choose well? Only played a snippet before.
Play it for the stories. Beautiful world. Rich characters. Lore. Atmosphere. I absolutely hated the combat and movement systems. But I tried not to concentrate on them too much, and it was a very enjoyable and memorable gaming experience.

Haha, yeah, I'm hoping so. Do you think I'll get a similar feeling at some point in the game as that Blackreach moment in Skyrim?
No spoilers, just... Will there be a moment that just stops me dead in awe?
There's too many to list... Certainly Priscilla's song as Caramel Clown mentioned... the Death of Vesimir for me...I honestly never imagined I'd see such grief expressed on the faces of game characters in anything I've experience in my entire time of gaming....
I was seriously choked with emotion just watching it.
The Witcher 3 weaves it's story and characters into such beauty at times like nothing else....

I got it on Xbox for now. £14 for the lot... Less than I paid for Skyrim on PC.
If I do find myself enjoying it though, I'll likely buy a PC copy. (I only play heavily modded games on PC. Or Elite.

I'll also add that the Blood and wine DLC is almost the Witcher 4...a huge new area of the world and over 100 hours of gameplay totally unconnected to the main storyline or game maps. Both the DLC packs are pretty awesome to be honest...I loved the story from Hearts of Stone too
The character acting and voice acting is absolutely superb throughout.

I am trying to abide my time before I have to succumb to my addiction and will start another playthrough, but posts like these are testing my resolve. I am so envious that you have not experienced this title yet..

Just finished the install. Needless to say, I'm off!
It's very good, & works really well on my PC despite it's potato CPU! Absolutely gorgeous game.
