Just saw the Recommended System Requirements

I am just hoping my computer will run it even on a lower setting , I only just saw the specs and my graphics card is the Gtx 750 ti . Otherwise i have pre prdered the game for nothing . The previous info i had seen said it was about the same specs as Planet Coaster which my computer runs great on high settings
It's always worth a try :)

Why they specify the Rx 580 next to the GTX 1070, the GTX 1070 being better?
Because one is the graphics card made by Radeon , the other is the one made by Nvidea the two big graphics card makers . A lot of players have a graphics card made by either of those companies so Frontier have to make sure that the game works on cards by both companies

Thanks, the problem is that due to my current housing situation I don't have anywhere to put a desktop so for the moment I will have to stick with a laptop.
...

This really isn't a valid argument anymore in this day and age IMHO. You can build a watercooled system with a 9900K and a 2080ti on a mini ITX board in a case that's not much bigger than a laptop. Even if you don't have a permanent place to put a desktop, the storage space isn't much more than a laptop. You could even get a wireless keyboard + mouse and hook it up to your TV so you don't need to have a desk and monitor for it. Put it next to your TV when gaming, and store it in your closet when not needed, just like a laptop.

I'm interested in this aswell. Basically the 1070 is more equivalent to AMD's Radeon RX Vega 56. The Card which is set against the 580 was the 1060 but from other Cobra Engine Titles we already know, that the Engine is capable to utilize GPU Computing capabilitys. Therefore the Radeons where working very well with frontier products. The GTX1000 Series was not as capable in terms of GPGPU Computing and Radeons GCN Architecture had a higher feature set including pumped up FP16 and raw power for computing tasks, even in the consumer space. Since NVidia released the Turing based RTX Series, followed by the GTX 16XX series the featureset was pumped up quite a bit. This might be a reason for setting the RX580 and the 1070 together at the recommended specs. Radeons GCN has struggled a bit with some older and some specific modern Game engines, but Cobra was always really well optimised for both GPU vendors and the specific capabilities.

I just noticed that the minimum requirements lists Windows 7+, while the recommended settings only list Windows 10. Could it be possible that some form of DX12 was implemented?

This game has higher system requirements the Planet Coaster!!

With Planet Coaster, recommended was a GTX 980. And now they have a next gen GTX car requirement (GTX 1070 which is a later gen than GTX 980).

Also, 16GB RAM. With Planet Coaster, it was only 8GB required.

You can cope with 1080p gaming with only 8GB RAM, but if you want 4k playable gaming, 16GB is the minimum recommended by AMD. I know because my custom PC used to have an AMD RX 390 and AMD quoted that on the box. It was a Sapphire version. But now my custom PC has an EVGA GTX 1070SC (8GB vRAM @ 1888Mhz). My current PC has a high end Intel Core i7-6700k. It is referred to high end by Intel and Notebookcheck.

I plan on my next custom desktop gaming PC to have an Intel Core i9-9900k, RTX 2080 Ti, 2TB Samsung M.2 SSC, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Corsair 500D Obsidian. But that would cost around NZ$5,500 from NZ custom PC retailers. So that system won't be brought for up to another 2 years. I also plan on upgrading my white HP laptop (4 years old) to the Surface Pro 7 256GB Intel Core i5 10th gen processor because it's good for uni/school and ultra versatile and portable. Not for gaming, but for everyday tasks.

I don’t wish to get into pointless arguments but you have no idea about my circumstances and you might want to reflect on how you phrase your responses.

Good thing about GTX/RTX GPU's is Nvidia Shadowplay Experience. It's a far more excellent and reliable tool for capturing and sharing gameplay than AMD GPU's Raptr software, which I've tried, struggled to capture The Sims 4 recordings as well as a few other games I played. All I ended up was with videos with just a black screen. And I keep everything updated on my PC. Nvidia tends to have more GPU cores (CUDA) than AMD. The GTX 1070 is better than the RX480 as it has a higher clock speed and more cores and higher GFlops, and... Nvidia GeForce Experience capture software which, can do 4k easy. Without having to choose and pay for 3rd party capture software or software with annoying ads in it. But that's down to user experience/preference. I'm happy for you if you're more of an AMD or GTX peep.
