Huh. Quite a few of the people contributing in that thread are the most narrow minded, judgmental, opinionated, intolerant of peoples opinions and playstyles other then their own on this entire forum. Very interesting.

Do you honestly think I have a problem posting it there?

I killed fuel rats and noobs, they are publicly availble on my channel, what makes you think I wont post it there. I just dont want to get banned as I love this forum and its residents.

I told you, contact the mods previous to your post and lets see if you are convincing enough.

Aha, thats why they are worse, once you start clubbing seals you will feel much better.

Oh wow that is hilarious, I would definitely suggest that but the admins will take that as trolling.

Why do you think someone who would gleefully destroy (ingame) any one of those posters would have a problem posting in that thread?

So, first Algomatic proposes that seal clubing is a cure to mental illnesses or at least it helps aminorate the synthomes. He then states that as a fact without a source. Anyways, I provide him with a link to a proper thread to talk about his so called cure.

There are two possibilities here.

1º Algomatic is just lying and trolling so he won't post in the thread because he knows his argument and cure is just pathetic and it has no support whatsoever.

2º Algomatic truly means what he is saying and so makes some research to then post a coherent and respectful post in the thread I provided, thus proving his point. He may contact a mod before posting to make sure he isn't banned or penalized.

Do I make it more clear guys?

Why do you think someone who would gleefully destroy (ingame) any one of those posters would have a problem posting in that thread?

Because mental illnesses are a bigger deal than a destroyed virtual ship?

If I post it there I will be ganked by the forum PVPiers, I would rather stay in my safe spot in this thread, you are just trying to get more easy targets in that thread, this wont work, I wont be their content.

Congratulations, you have proven that your argument is moot by showing it was a troll comment.

I must have misunderstood jason's comment.
He seemed to be saying he didn't believe it happens.

me too i found it hard to believe, not that it's a lie. of course it may happen, but is it the norm? dunno.

I agree with you though. It doesn't make much sense, hence why I posted this thread.

Just seems kind of cowardly to play nice with big ships around but then try and destroy little ships.

well, i would be of the same opinion. however, i don't force my opinion on others. i'll try to answer anyway, but i see 2 separate questions implied:

why clubbing seals and not attack ships that look able to fight back? the logical explanation is that they prefer easy targets: they are more into the kill than into the actual fight.

so why club seals at all? i can't really say because i don't do it, it would feel awkward to me, and i happen to like fights (in games). so the best answer i could muster is: 'it obviously doesn't feel awkward to them'. actually, their motives should be largely their own concern. i invite you to take answers to this last question from anyone that doesn't actually seal club with a grain of salt. they're all evidently speculative, and mostly toxic.

seal clubbing is a reality in the game, as is in many games. more than diving into the motives of the clubbers, i'd prefer to show seals how to live with it. it can't be denied it does have some instructional value. we do live in a cruel world. that's why i never prohibited my kids access to the online (or the outside) world, but just issued some fair warnings, monitored their progress and talked with them about their experiences.

Apart from when he and his 'followers' IP trace, interrogate and get FDev to shadowban a 'Gankers' kid based on their kangaroo court, right?

Or when he internet stalked and harrassed another chap on linkedin?

I'm more than happy for purist pvp players to sit in their own box, but the suggestion that their ingame protection justifies out of game action is ludicrous.

Well if that happened then it's naughty, but this is the internet so don't take it as gospel.

Family members getting banned due to having the same IP as cheats is a thing in online gaming, if you use a shared IP you should avoid making moves for everyone's sake.

However bullies immediately playing the victim card is also a big thing, so huge pinch of salt for everything when it comes to people who've been banned from wherever or whatever screeching that it isn't fair.

:D

Just as i said, it's not their interests to admit or accept anything, but it's their interest to keep continue how and what they are doing. Don't waste your time on them. The problem must be talked about, but they are never ever be a part of the resolution, or partner in debate out of the simple reason?

They are the problem.
