JWE3 Species and Ideas wishlist

Here is a wish list for a presumable JWE3. I would assume all or most of the species in JWE2 would be in the base game, so I will just put some species not found in JWE2. I would like everyone to put in their own ideas as well.

Smilodon
Woolly Mammoth
Woolly Rhino
Megatherium
Paraceratherium

Basilosaurus
Deinosuchus
Xiphactinus
Cretoxyrhina
Hesperornis

Brontoscorpio

Ideas for buildings and habitats

Fencing for guests
Fencing for small species
Being able to have exhibits for small species.
Glass fencing
Lagoon attraction ride
Being able to customize all buildings in the game.
Being able to manipulate terrain in the lagoons.
Being able to change the color and depth of the water in lagoons.
Being able to change the water depth in land enclosures.
Giving all animals the ability to swim.
Being able to not only change the colors of the skins of animals, but have larger and smaller variant models be released.
Having baby or juvenile animals in the game.
Being able to use every building dating back from JWE.
Having more types of live feeders.
Having more signs and being able to recolor all signs.
Having an island that it's terrain and biome could be manipulated.
Keep or improve on existing maps. Make more natural lagoons on more maps, and not have the land on the map be so limited. And introduce new biomes.
Walking animation for all pterosaurs, especially the azhdarchids.

Sigh... if they seriously put a semi-aquatic swamp animal into an open ocean tank, instead of just implementing a semi-aquatic system, I think I'd just hate this game forever...
Being able to manipulate terrain in the lagoons.
Being able to change the color and depth of the water in lagoons.

A way to make lagoons that at least aesthetically would look different from an open ocean tank like lagoon.

What about the following species?

  • Hypsilophodon
  • Mussaurus
  • Ornitholestes
  • Psittacosaurus
  • Protoceratops
  • Camptosaurus
  • Lambeosaurus
  • Saurolophus
  • Hadrosaurus
  • Stegoceras
  • Edmontonia
  • Saltasaurus

I would like to see beef cattle being fed to land-based carnivores and squid being available for marine species.

  • Hadrosaurus would be pointless... it adds nothing we don't already have and comes from a dig site with nothing else, just like Nodosaurus.
  • Mussaurus is okay, but Massospondylus would be better; more versatile, more friend options.
  • Lambeosaurus might be cool... although I feel the big selling point is that it combines nicely with Corythosaurus and Parasaurolophus, two other animals that otherwise do the same thing.
  • The rest are pretty good though...

  • Meganeura
  • Austriadactylus
  • Eudimorphodon
  • Yi
  • Rhamphorhynchus
  • Archaeopteryx
  • Pterodactylus
  • Guidraco
  • Zhenyuanopterus

Ideas
  • Serious effort put into semi-aquatic animals; they DO NOT belong in the Lagoon...
  • Nothosaurus removed from the Lagoon and made into a proper semi-aquatic animal...
  • Purely redundant animals removed, specifically: Archaornithomimus, Chungkingosaurus, Dracorex, and Nodosaurus... there are others, but people will whine about them being vaguely canon...
  • Realistic variants (if Jurassic World Alive can do it, why not Jurassic World Evolution?), in particular: Amargasaurus, Ankylosaurus, Atrociraptor, Baryonyx, Ceratosaurus, Deinonychus, Dimorphodon, Dilophosaurus, Pyroraptor, Sinoceratops, Spinosaurus, Therizinosaurus, and Velociraptor.
  • Feathered variants for animals that should have feathers, like Albertosaurus, Gallimimus, Struthiomimus and Troodon... I suppose I could have lumped them into the realistic variants, but the current models are good enough... they just need feathers.
  • Proper quadruped walking animations and biped running animations for all hadrosaurs.
  • Walking animations for pterosaurs; especially the azdarchids, which are suppose to spend all their time walking!
  • The neck of Mamenchisaurus needs to be fixed; it should be held out horizontally, like that of Diplodocus and Apatosaurus.
  • Above ground paths and below water paths.
  • An underground system of service tunnels to connect our buildings, particularly our feeders... because there's no way they're just keeping live goats inside the feeders.
  • Cleanliness and park cleaners; people and dinosaurs alike make the park dirty and cause damage... groundskeepers keep it clean and replace broken objects.
  • Staff paths, or at least some system to keep our vehicles from driving through guest areas (and over guests).
  • Some kind of boat ride... probably want to go with something like the Universal Studios Jurassic Park boat ride.
  • A gondola ride, like the one in Camp Cretaceous maybe.
  • Biodomes... or at the very least, the ability to use aviaries like a biodome... some land animals mix well with aviary animals...
  • Shorter fencing... because it makes no sense to put a two foot tall Compsognathus behind a thirty foot tall electrified fence.
  • Decorative fencing... real zoos often put fences between guests and enclosures... especially when the enclosure fences are electrified.
  • No more grid-based foliage... just normal plant placement, like in Planet Zoo!

I am not sure if any of you notice, here is how it goes:

In Jurassic World: Evolution 1; the infrastructure, the power stations, and reptile-creation buildings have three upgrade slots.

In Jurassic World: Evolution 2; there are just two upgrade slots for all of these buildings.

It makes me wonder if anybody want these buildings to have three upgrade slots in these buildings in Jurassic World: Evolution 3 like in the first game instalment.

I thought it would be convenient about the following:

- Expedition Center being upgraded with Cheaper Expedition, Improved Yield, and Extra Scientist.

- Science Center being upgraded with Extraction Capacity, Cheaper Research, and Fossil Storage.

- There is no telling what will be in place of "Chaos Theory" mode in Jurassic World: Evolution 3. In that mode and challenge mode (custom include), the standard hatchery being upgraded with Advanced Equipment, Cheaper Genetics, and Extra Scientist.

- The automated hatcheries in Sandbox gameplay being upgraded with Cheaper Genetics, Accelerated Growth, and Additional Bays.

Regarding the species for the third game I would choose these;

Carnivores

1-Torvosaurus
2-Daspletosaurus
3-Pycnonemosaurus
4-Eoraptor
5-Dromaeosaurus (feathered)

Herbivores

1-Lambeosaurus
2-Shantungosaurus
3-Hadrosaurus
4-Argentinosaurus
5-Ornithomimus (feathered)

Variants

1-Edmontosaurus annectens
2-Accurate feathered Deinonychus

Skins

1-2001 Triceratops
2-1997 Pteranodon

3-Pycnonemosaurus
Why this one? It's scrappy and largely unknown. Wouldn't something we know much more about--something obvious like Aucasaurus, or unique like Spectrovenator--make a lot more sense?

2-Shantungosaurus
3-Hadrosaurus
4-Argentinosaurus
5-Ornithomimus (feathered)
What does a scrappy, isolated nothing like Hadrosaurus do that isn't covered by Edmontosaurus, Maiasaura and Shantungosaurus, but better?
What does Argentinosaurus do that isn't thoroughly covered by Dreadnoughtus?
And what's the point of adding Ornithomimus when a feathered Strutiomimus would do the exact same thing?

I don't mean to be rude but... Those are my choices and my ideas. If you don't like it, simply make your own wishlist. All the niches have already been filled, it is impossible for the species not to be similar to others and not to be repetitive. In the end, everyone has their own species preferences

You're (mostly) right, but there's an inevitable limit to development, and wouldn't it be smarter and better to focus on options that add more to the game? That are actually decided by logic and make sense?

Yeah, I understand you at this point... But who knows what they have planned for the third game... anyway, before adding more species I'd rather a complete overhaul on dino A.I, mechanics and behaviors

I prefer more immersion in terms of gameplay

If they have the mammoth and wooly rhino, id like the Rangers have the ability to stop poachers (if they are added to the game) from taking the ivory or rhino horn as in real life. Give the Rangers a decent mission.

Small animals and mini exibit for this creatures, would be ready-of-use structures whit different enviroments depending on the animal that will be the resident.
