JWE3 Species and Ideas wishlist

Being able to customize all buildings, including the visitor centers and hotels.

1718581530332.png

Being able to customize all decorations. Being able to change the colors of the decorations will greatly expand the creative part of the game. Something like being able to change the color of lets say, the fossil wall will make our parks more distinct.

1718581873057.png

Having all types of decorations be available in one biome. For instance, we should be able to have every variation of a fountain in sandbox available at the same time, even the ones not in the biome.

1718582067259.png

More skeletons and large statues of dinosaurs.

1718582350383.png

Have an inside view from the monorail.

1718582575820.png

A different version of the San Diego Amphitheatre corresponding to the particular biome of the map you are currently using. And a generic sign if you are using it outside the San Diego map.

1718582796675.png

Being able to have a placeable Biosyn sanctuary.

It is an idea for Jurassic World: Evolution 3's sandbox gameplay:

What do you say to customize the roster?

It is about choosing which species of prehistoric critters that we want to exhibit in the park. When the Sandbox game begins, only the species selected earlier are available. For example when making a Jurassic-Park-type park, when the Minmi is not selected, the species will be unavailable in that park. If the Baryonyx is selected for whether making a Jurassic-Park-type park or Jurassic-World-type park, the species is included in the research first.

It is a nuisance that research contracts on unwanted species pop up in Jurassic World: Evolution 2. For example, research contract for Weurhosaurus pop up when the species is not wanted for a Jurassic-Park-type park.

I like the idea. Maybe have a way to select animals from a particular time period, Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous for example. Or even select animals from where the fossils were found, whether they be in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, South America, or Antarctica.

Something to add to the categories of animals in the game, have a category for Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic.

Besides water, forest, sand, and rock needs, certain species should like certain biomes more than others. Trees that are not in the biome but correspond to the favorite biome of the animal, even if used as decorations in the enclosure should add to animal welfare.

Animal happiness score

Bonus points could be given to certain animals requiring certain climates. There should be an additional bonus to caves or some other types of shelter. And there should be things like waterfalls and toys inside the enclosure for animal happiness.

1718658821232.png

Guest happiness score

Along with animal happiness, the guests should be happier seeing more interesting things inside each enclosure. Also having low level fencing where guests can see the animals as they walk the paths. Bridges should also be added to add to the looks of the parks.

1718659169303.png

Certain animals from certain time periods should feel more at home with each other. I would keep the likes and dislikes of species the same, maybe with a little tweaking. But I would add a favorite bonus to the needs of the animals as well. Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Torosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus and Edmontosaurus for example would be happier coexisting together because they came from the same place and time.

A new model for Liopleurodon
View attachment 394662
View attachment 394663
I agree on a redesign for Liopleurodon and Spinosaurus. I'd also like a redesign for Carcharodontosaurus, Diplodocus, and Mamenchisaurus. The thing is if a redesigned Spino and Dilophosaurus appeared in any future media, then we'll absolutely get a variant of that with new cosmetics too which seems unlikely, but who knows. Although if they brought out animals very similar to them and while not the same species like Sinosaurus/Dracovenator and Oxalaia, that could bring some closure. I pretend when I release the Frontier look for Giganotosaurus that that's Carcharodontosaurus. I'd be cool if they used that design as a template for a redesign. Diplodocus and Mamenchisaurus should resemble their Legacy figure designs, not that I don't mind Diplodocus in this.

Lagoons should have more creative freedom.

First, the color of the water should be able to be changed to make each lagoon in the parks distinct from one another.

1718672704074.png

The lagoons should have large rocks or decorations to place inside of them.

1718672882013.png
1718672923758.png

The terrain should be able to be manipulated to create more shallow water or deeper water.

1718673085169.png

Having more variety with the lagoon feeders would give the different aquatic species more specialized needs. The Meg for example should eat something bigger than tuna. Maybe larger sized fish, squid, maybe nautilus. Another idea would be to have different sizes for the tuna; small, medium, and large.

1718673726057.png

Natural decorations to the exterior of the lagoons would make lagoons look different. Using the existing rock types, have natural looking decorations that could be put around the exterior.

Redesigns should include Carcharodontosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Tylosaurus and better cosmetics for Olorotitan and Tsintaosaurus. Diplodocus and Mamenchisaurus should have a design similar to their Legacy figures. The Frontier Giganotosaurus design should be a template for the Carcharo redesign. Tylosaurus should get an appearance similar to its Telltale design.

Some permanent variants should include Giganotosaurus, Ouranosaurus, Dreadnoughtus, Parasaurolophus, Pachyrhinosaurus, and Kentrosaurus due to their most recent appearances in canon media.

Interchangeable variants should include Iguanodon, Brachiosaurus, Pteranodon, Dimorphodon, Suchomimus, Majungasaurus, Baryonyx, Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Ankylosaurus. I like both designs for Iguanodon, but Frontier's look fits more with its defensive capabilities. I'd like Ankylosaurus to look more like its 2001 design with more colors added for cosmetics.

I'd like more social behavior for the pterosaurs, interspecial socialization like a hadrosaur interacting with a ceratopsid without being aggressive, more fighting and defensive capabilities for sauropods.

I would like to see swimming capabilities for dinosaurs similar to Planet Zoo where you can morph the terrain to fill in water. Makes sense with more crocodilians added.

@Paleoguy I agree. The cohabitation system of Jurassic World: Evolution 2 is DISGUSTINGLY APPALLING. If I were to attempt the official Germany challenge in Jurassic difficulty, I am more likely to fail.

It is not just the herbivores of Hell Creek Formation, the same can be said of the following lists:

Morrison Formation

  • Othnielia (if added)
  • Dryosaurus
  • Camptosaurus (if added)
  • Camarasaurus
  • Diplodocus
  • Stegosaurus
  • Apatosaurus
  • Brachiosauurus

Nemegt Formation

  • Homalocephale
  • Gallimimus
  • Saurolophus (if added)
  • Deinocheirus
  • Therizinosaurus (doubtful)

Oldman Formation

  • Corythosaurus
  • Parasaurolophus
  • Maiasaura
  • Chasmosaurus

Dinosaur Park Formation

  • Struthiomimus
  • Stegoceras (if added)
  • Corythosaurus
  • Lambeosaurus (if added)
  • Parasaurolophus
  • Styracosaurus
  • Chasmosaurus
  • Euoplocephalus

Added behaviors to the animals.

Liking shade and shelter.
1718915447037.png

More socializations.

If water depth is added, bathing/swimming animations.

Being able for the animals to interact with objects in an enclosure. Maybe ceratopsians putting their horns against tree stumps. Maybe some animals using tree stumps like scratching posts. Even having toys for them to play with in the enclosure.
1718915227481.png

Having some marine animals go to the bottom of the lagoon to consume stones to help with digestion.
1718913390572.png

More behaviors for all the flying reptiles. Walking pterosaur animations.
1718914862852.png

More sauropod interaction animations.

1718913624280.png

Sauropod defense animations.
1718913747749.png

Even though mating would not exist, mating ritual animations for the animals.
1718916335437.png
1718916366422.png

If Smilodon is a part of JWE3, I hope it has a variety of fur patterns.

Likewise if there is a Mammoth.

Having the 65 myo T-rex be able to have various colors and patterns.

I really like the variety of dig sites. It could make the game more challenging to try to find fossils, which in my opinion is a good thing.

Continuing Lagoon species ideas, the lagoons should have a rich variety of types of animals represented. Here are some species that work well with the current game mechanics to be introduced for JWE3.

And finally, I think we should introduce birds to the JWE games with JWE3. This is a video explaining how they survived while the pterosaurs did not. Above I added some species of birds, especially since Frontier is so good with the feathers it uses for the models in game, and being there is no bird currently in JWE2.
