There was literally only a few seconds from his overheating message to going pop. Trust me, if there was time to disengage, I would have. Once all the votes are in, I can adjust my Karma balance accordingly, and plan my next experiment accordingly.

If it helps at all, I did carry out a near-station cargo drop for the only two Cmdrs from about 12 or so in a starport who bothered to respond to my hails, then followed me as I flew backwards away from the same station with promises of riches.

Come to think of it, that probably was a bit creepy.......one of them even messaged with "What the hell, I'll proWasbably get blown up anyway".

He didn't. Neither did his friend.

Wasn't there a long war, fought in the way backs, over being able to buy off your sins? In Europe maybe. In the end you knew exactly what you were doing, and now you found a way to get a little gloat in too. I'm excited for you.

Well, you could always try what I sometimes do, in that I head off to a starter system with some decent cargo, ask any Sidewinders in the area to wing up with me, and then, when I sell my cargo, they get a trade dividend. Mind you, there are so many nervous Sidewinder Commanders out there I normally only have 1 trip in 3 where I get takers.

I escaped 3 or 4 interdicton efforts last night in my new cobra. How can I tell if it's a player or NPC trying to get me? I would like to meet a good sport in a Python or Cobra. Would not like to meet NPC pirates, though I've loaded up shiny new toys just in case.

Hit "H" during the interdiction, the ship interdicting you will be selected. Human piloted ships will show with an empty head on your scanner.

Trust me, avoid hostile Pythons.....unless it's me. I'm a nice guy....today.....:D
