Kepler's crest Lagrange point

So I've been out in the black exploring south of the bubble towards Kepler's crest region, and the reported location of a Lagrange point is in the codex... I couldn't plot a course from the bubble at the time because #distance and so I made my way just into the region.

But I still can't plot a course to that system... I'm running a Krait phantom with a 65 Ly range... Do I need jumponium or do I have to manually plot a course because of the lack of stars on the bottom arm? I tried going to other places in the far south but every time the route planner failed.... Am I doing it wrong or is my range still too low?

Obvious answer coming up:

Check any filters you might have for route planning and also check that you are not on the economic route planning option.

After that - you are on your own :D

I don't have filters applied to route at all. I usually skip over white dwarves because they are not worth the risk IMO....

I'm new to exploring in sparse regions so any tips would be helpful

The route plotter can have problems in very sparse regions. Try to see how far it can plot by selecting systems in your intended direction. If you are having trouble plotting even 500LY, then try waiting on the Galaxy Map with the Fastest Routes selected but not telling it to plot a route: you will see the plotter automatically trying to find routes around your position. The pattern these makes can tell you if you've hit a wall where the density is so low it's hard to find a path. With 65LY range you should be able to get through almost anywhere but you might have to select a series of waypoints at short intervals, maybe even much less than 1KLY. Out on the Rim itself, or very high above or below the Galactic Plane, you may have to manually plot each jump but the above method can still guide you in the right direction (you can also see what the picture is in economical mode, as it sometimes is easier for plotter to find routes in sparse regions in this mode).

Ohhh I did not know that... Usually my trips have been up west and up north east of the bubble, and there's been tons of stars available. This is the first time I've gone south lol. I might end up doing a counter clockwise path and end up at Colonia again

Not to go off-topic but has anyone determined if these Lagrange point items are hand dropped or if they're at random locations all over the place with the help of Stellar Forge??

Where exactly is the legrange point?

I’m in Kepler’s Crest now.

I painlessly got to Kepler’s Crest using this route to cross the Formidline Rift

I got to the outskirts of Kepler’s Crest (over 81,000ly from Beagle Point), using 4 FSD injections and a bunch of bookmarks/breadcrumbs to find my way back. I didn’t need any FSD injections until I was about 80,000 light years from Beagle Point. The ship I’d taken is 52ly.

I just opened the codex and went to the reported Lagrange point...(lyed something) Apparently y dwarves are where they can be found

Double post, I just wanted to head there cause it's the opposite direction I've ever been, and once I find one I might be able to find others
